Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
Me who loves warhammer 40k, I will have to say this is one of the worst games of this universe. The game looks way too cartoony and the balance of the game is very poor. I did like how it was strategic like XCOM, but the pacing is very poor.
Chaos Gate exists square in the shadow of impossibly-influential strategy staple XCOM, to the point where some could consider it less "inspired by" and more "cover album". An XCOM-like, if you will. I come to it as an XCOM fan who knows basically nothing about Warhammer. So my question on purchase is, does this game put its own effective spin on this micro-genre? Does it ever! It does one better than that. Chaos Gate's execution is so improbably good that I'm half-convinced it understands what made XCOM tick better than XCOM itself. Steam reviews shouldn't be long, but just a couple of the best highlights: - A fleshed-out strategy layer partly inspired by CGE's Pandemic, which provides ample context for decisions about which missions to accept--or whether to attempt them at all - A core engine which removes most, though not all, randomness from the tactical layer. Most attacks--on either side--are guaranteed to hit and deal a fixed amount of damage. You might be skeptical about a game yanking out something that feels like such a core pillar of XCOM, but I was very pleasantly surprised to see Chaos Gate prove that it doesn't need that randomness to make the whole game work! There are plenty of sources of tension as well as plenty to plan around - While not literally 100% bug-free, sufficiently bug-free (and sufficiently good at conveying all its rules!) that I am more than happy to recommend future players follow in my stead and play on Grand Master (i.e. Ironman) mode - Excellent difficulty curve! XCOM is famously cowardly about ramping up the difficulty as your game goes on. But this is one of the things about Chaos Gate that pleased me most. There must have been half a dozen times over the course of the campaign where I thought, "OK. I have this game's number. I've got my feet under me. I bet the rest of this will be a piece of cake," only to have the game raise the ante on me and force me to buckle down yet again. Though I did win my campaign, there were a couple times when I was *certain* I was going to lose it--including when I first saw the final boss! Chaos Gate is not afraid to make you work. As a time-poor gamer, if I was looking for a criticism, I might argue that it very slightly overstays its welcome. But this is splitting hairs. If you're a fan of the genre, treat yourself to an ambitious difficulty setting and don't sleep on it. This game is a triumph.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 27: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I wish I had not bought this game. It is just not fun. There are bright spots but all together I would avoid it and find another title. Clunky, Frustrating, Slow, constant reloads, bad design overall
For the emperor!!!
Xcoms but as 40K
Lacks polishing and QOL features. Gameplay feels sluggish because of some very bad decisions (reload animations too slow and locking gameplay, movement animation too slow and locking the game, stagger animations locking the game and too slow...) Some weapons feel like toys animation wise/sound wise/FX wise. Interface is not great. Also skill trees could have been far more interesting and more defining for classes. Imgagine a chaplain buffing his comrades every time he strikes with his mace/axe ! Or an AEGIS TANK justicar that taunt/counter attack enemies ! Etc... But despite all of that it is a very decent game for those who love the W40K universe, it tackles the Grey Knights which are seldom put forwar in games (for good reason watch out for inquisitors erasing all witnesses !) I would love to see a second game with improvements and more mission diversity (which is also lacking) If you are smarter than a nurgling the game is not that difficult really, you just have to pay attention to how you level up/gear your knights and understand 2 or 3 core mechanics. Some classes are really more powerful than others (interceptors are a must have as a shock troop for instance) 7/10
You get to be a Knight of Titan.
bugs, bugs and more bugs. if you wanna be a payed beta tester after years of official release you are welcome. but you are pay for worst and bugged game in line...
