So many times I've heard from different people how bad are the forklift missions in Shenmue and GTA San Andreas! So many people were frustrated with the idea that they need to drive that strange thing, moving some crates from A to B. Like on the real work! Such a strange and alien concept. Totally no fun. Not even the slightest bit of it.
And there we have a forklift driving simulator! Where in the whole game, the only possible goal is about that process exactly - moving crates, boxes, and palettes from A to B. Over and over again.
And... I suggest avoiding it. By all means. Like, even if someone will promise to pay you a good reward for playing it - dodge that bullet. It is that bad. And I actually liked forklift missions in Shenmue (and GTA SA), plus I have real-life experience with driving such things. In the warehouse, during the real logistics job.
On the positive side, the game starts on my current Win10 PC without any real trouble. I have to note that because I had some issues with other 'simulation' games from the same game developer when I had to refer to the advice on the forums in order to configure their game to run.
Plus, you're supposedly driving not some generic forklifts in this game, but the Jungheinrich ones. Which are considered timeless classics of the forklift market: technically well-built, very easy to use, albeit a little noisy and fragile, and therefore slightly more difficult to maintain and repair.
But honestly, Warehouse and Logistics Simulator feel more like a scam than a simulator game. A product to make a quick buck, squeezing it out of sponsor (Jungheinrich and us, players), and then vanish in the mist until the people realize the fact that there was no aim to make a playable game.
There is no tutorial, you can't remap buttons, and you have to find out how it works by random. Not the rocket science, of course: WASD for driving and arrows up and down to raise and lower the fork. Plus you can change camera views by '1', '2', '3' buttons. You have a map with red and blue dots, A and B points, literally, and the faster you move the crate from red to blue point - the better. But... the physics model is quite bad. The collisions are Very Wrong, and the objects don't move as they should by normal physics laws. The possibility to stuck while moving something from the highest shelf is both the most frequent and the most revitalizing for all that crates moving process.
And it's clunky, glitchy, and boring. Normally I can tolerate some bugs, lack of tutorial, and/or proper physics in some games which are providing some proper gameplay. But there are so many things wrong with that wannabe game, and not a single one, except for the visuals of Jungheinrich products, that was made right. So I can't recommend playing it to anybody. It's like Staplerfahrer Klaus made his own videogame - don't come any closer if you value your life! Google that person to understand me correctly there.
