⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Players in the game will be able to play on multiple battlefields of the campaign, from the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers where the Siege of Harper's Ferry took place, to the ridgelines of South Mountain, and to the meandering waters of Antietam Creek at the Battle of Antietam. Additionally, players will also be able to choose from a list of regiments that fought in each battle as well as what rank to fight as, whether they want to slog it out as a lowly private, or if you want to orchestrate the carnage and mayhem as a major general.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Uniforms and bodily features will all be customizable for other players to see as you march and fight in the lines of battle according to the tactics of the period. As a General, you will operate in your headquarters equipped with a map of the battlefield and constantly receiving reports of friendly and enemy positions. Send out new orders to the regiments to move forward, or fall back - all in real time. The orders will move down the chain of command, to the Colonels, Majors, down to the Captains in charge of the individual regiments, all of whom have the option to follow the orders of their trusted commander, or rebel against his wishes and fight as you see fit.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Each map contains a period reconstruction of the buildings, farms, forests, roads, and rocks as they were in 1862 so players can fight through the streets of Harper's Ferry, in the wooded heights of Fox's Gap at South Mountain, or in the cornfields and Bloody Lanes of Antietam. Players can feel the whiz of deadly shot and shell fly by their bodies, or hit their comrades or themselves as they scream in a bloody hail from their wounds. Limbs will fly and blood will be spilt once again as Campfire Games brings the fighting of the Civil War right to the player's computer screen!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Will you heed the Union call against the traitors? Or will you fight to defend your family and livelihood with the Confederacy? You decide!

Can't believe I slept on this game for so long. It's an experience unmatched by any other milsim, with 400 players taking part in line battles and bayonet charges. Everyone takes it serious enough to the point where the officers are listened to and discipline is instilled in pretty much all the players.
Nice
This game is really fun if your into musket linebattle warfare.

Pretty fun game, I went into this thinking it'd be like Holdfast but a bit more realistic. Instead I got something slightly more akin to Squad but with muzzle loaders and Regiment leaders that sometimes take this game a bit TOO seriously. Which leads me to my only complain so far. The game has a very niche community, most nights you can get into a full server, and just know that every night it's mostly the same players. Only a small handful of said players are regiment leaders, and just know that out of that small handful, there are some that are very, very power trippy. Most I've played with are pretty cool, but there are some that really, really take the wind out of my sails here. I had hoped the community would be pretty jokey and fun say like in other Mil Sims like Squad. Many groups in that game, while still treating the over game seriously, are chill to joke around with and goof off. The small community here treats the game like one to one reenactment. Not that I haven't found those who were willing to just relax, chat, and trade shots with the enemy team, but those folk were very rare to come across. All in all, if you want a hardcore line battle mil sim. Highly recommend this game, just don't expect the community to be as goofy as Hold Fast or other milsim games. These historical guys are very strict to the reenactments Also very horny, and I mean, VERY horny. The server admins are great at keeping the toxicity to a minimum, but by god, do they let the horn-dogs flood the chat at night.
fun game but you wll hear people calling kids on the games slurs would play again
absolutely amazing game theres no gaming exp like it
CRASH-CRASH-CRASH its so fking annoying because its an amazing game overall, actually my favorite game I have ever played but I get the feeling its just not optimized to handle much because it crashes SO MUCH and so many people get bugs like microphones not operating correctly after a recent patch, still not fixed a year later, it also heats my video card up hotter than hell
fun game and would like to see more events like the 1776 event.
