Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

____________________________________________________ Hello Overlords, This game is especially interesting for those who know the old Dungeon Keeper games – so, kids of the 80s or 90s. Alongside the game Dungeons, War for the Overworld is one that takes itself a bit more seriously. While Dungeons 2–3 goes for a more comedic tone and doesn’t take itself too seriously, War for the Overworld feels much closer to the classic Dungeon Keeper games: darker, more serious, and perfect for embracing your evil side. If I had to point out one negative aspect (for me personally), it’s this: There is no German voice-over. (Just to be clear: I’m only talking about the voice acting.) The game itself is available in German, but the voice lines – which, just like in the original Dungeon Keeper, are frequent and important – are entirely in English. I think it was the same in the original back then, and it already bothered me there. I see it with a laughing and a crying eye: Laughing because it makes the game more authentic and closer to the original. Crying because it handicaps me a bit – my English is far from perfect, so I struggle to understand everything. (And yes, the English version of this review was created with ChatGPT. :D) My verdict: A solid 8 out of 10 points.

This is just modern day Dungeon Keeper, a game that I play for countless hours during my childhood. This game perfectly captures that nostalgia for me. If youre a fan of the old Dungeon Keeper games and want something modern thats not going to look terrible on a modern display, this is the game for you!
Just like DK! Really the same feeling. Way better then Dungeons 4 which sucks in my humble opinion.
Dungeon Keeper.
War for the Overworld – Finally, A Dungeon of MY Own! 👹🛠️ After years of storming other people’s dungeons, War for the Overworld finally gives you the chance to be the one laying down traps, raising terrifying minions, and building the darkest dungeon imaginable! This game is pure nostalgia with a modern twist, bringing back all the elements I loved from classic dungeon management games and amping them up with fun RTS mechanics. 💀⚔️ The humor here is absolutely spot-on, with your minions offering cheeky commentary as you expand your dark lair and fend off those pesky heroes. The satisfaction of building devious rooms, watching your minions scurry to fulfill your evil commands, and then taking on the Overworld? Absolute perfection. 😈🖤 War for the Overworld delivers a fantastic, immersive dungeon-crafting experience that will keep any aspiring overlord gleefully occupied for hours. Created with <3
A great spiritual successor of the great DungeonKeeper 2 before EA effed it up.
The game is really fun and, in some ways, even better than the original Dungeon Keeper. That said, it feels like it’s missing some of the charm those older games had... but maybe that’s just nostalgia speaking. My main issue is performance. Even with an RTX 4090 and a Ryzen 9 7900X3D, I can’t get a stable 120 FPS, which is disappointing.
I bought this game for cheap after wishlisting it for years and I wish I hadn't bothered. The controls are a mess and it fails to measure up to Dungeon Keeper. All around, War for the Overworld is a dud.
