the credits song for this game came up on my spotify daylist like 9 months ago and i liked it so i listened to it non stop for 9 hours and then i decided to play the game and yeah. it's decent.

This is one of the most unique, heartfelt, and beautiful games that I've ever played. I played it over the course of around 8 months on and off, and each time I came back my life was very different and myself a separate person from the last, but playing this game unified those strings back together. The music (C418 my goat) is some of the best around, impactful in impactful moments, playful in playful moments, and sad in the sad moments. The atmosphere is elite. The music in combination with the lighting and environment is beautiful and is just one of the core parts of the game. The gameplay is easy and satisfying and helps bring the message that this place is kind of an oasis among the desert of life, to stop by and then leave again on a journey. To ease the stresses of your past self and to propel you back into the future. Also, now that I've beaten it today right at the line between 2025 and 2026, I can listen to the album (FM I already did). Also, listen to C418's music other than minecraft. he makes some great stuff. play this game.

Wanderstop is a very unique game. With only a few hours in I have had a few times I have busted up laughing. I would recommend trying the demo first because this game is slow. It isn't a game where you always know what to do because there isn't always direction. That said there is always something to do, it's just not required. The best part of the game is seeing someone who constantly strives for more and is an absolute perfectionist, slowly relax. Anyone who feels similarly should try out this game, it brings out the reminder that life is fun and not just about massive accomplishments. My only gripe is the camera can get wonky and although my pc handles the game fine on max settings, I just wish it was a little more stable on the frames. It can be a bit difficult on the eyes. The game requires little to no fast movement though, so this isn't a big issue.
