The idea behind the game - that being escape rooms with a time-traveling twist - sounds cool on paper. Unfortunately, the execution is extremely poor. The game is a bug-ridden mess with countless ways to accidentally soft-lock yourself. I assume the developers were aware of this, since instead of fixing the issues, they rather decided to remake the entire game from the ground up as a new, full-priced release that is coming out in couple of days. The game also relies heavily on inventory management, yet the inventory management is complete rubbish, that will give you endless headaches as you try to navigate across different timelines just to bring specific items where they’re needed. On top of that, alot of the puzzles are kind of stupid, and you will likely have to resort to looking up the solutions on Youtube. Also, the game isnt fun to play, like at all. Combine all of that, and you end up with a game that’s boring, buggy, and janky - a game where everything you do feels like a chore, and your only takeaway is a nausea-inducing snorefest. I love escape room games, I love time travel stories, and I love VR, but I absolutely despise this game. In the end, it commits the most cardinal sin a video game can: being a boring chore that isn’t fun to play.
So let me get this straight .... they want me to pay $35.99 USD to get an upgraded version of the same game I bought in 2022? Excuse me. WTF. Hell nah.
Very nice and high quality feeling story/puzzle game! I'm not a puzzle person at all so for me, this took way longer than I wanna admit. Some puzzles are really frustrating and combine that with VR, I needed frequent breaks! Hints were present, but very often they didn't help at all or they were very unclear which made me just google the answers. While the graphics were nice and I absolutely adored the atmosphere and the story which was the main reason I stayed even when there were some bugs present and I found the inventory management be very difficult. For a VR game this game is definitely solid. Is it Half-Life solid? Not quite but it is very close. For a puzzle hater, wait for a sale. You do want to play this game for the story and atmosphere :D If you love puzzle games, this one is a definitely a pick for you!
Putting out a remake 2+ years after the original? Seriously?
I enjoyed this game. I liked the whole premise of the game and the solving of the puzzles. There is one section of the game where I cannot progress forward. The developers decided that you need to play a virtual drum set. I can't. I am unable to coordinate the virtual controllers along with the notes and get the timing exact and fail each and every time. There is no way to skip this part. There is no way for me to complete the game.

Great escape-room style puzzle Had to use guides a few times as I would get lost Overall great game. The shooting/quick action events were a bit weirdly paced but great otherwise
