What sets Vulcard apart from other roguelike deckbuilders?
Vulcard is to our knowledge the only roguelike deckbuilder that uses time based combat. This means that enemies don't just wait for you to end your turn and instead regularly attack you, forcing you to make quick decisions. This makes Vulcard a fast-paced and action packed card battling game.

Very cool game! I had a lot of fun playing this with my friend, the combat is an interesting blend of turn-based and real time fighting. Looking at the game I didn't think there would be much strategy, but the element system definitely adds a bunch. The difficulty increases very well with how long it takes to build a character and with no game breaking that I have found it allows for challenging and fun combat each time! Definitely get this game if you want a little roguelike fix with a friend!
"Vulcard is a co-op deckbuilder all about exploring unique strategies." Yeah, if you wanna be a *dweeb* about it. This game is so unfathomably funny, just a barrel of laughs couch co-op game, wrapped up in a neat little roguelite deckbuilder package. And with the recent improvements of Steam Remote Play? I cannot recommend it highly enough, and it is truly a testament to just how fun a game is when you really break down the barriers of taking yourself and all games so seriously. This game is lighthearted, but does offer real challenge, and is easily understandable and palatable by both experienced and casual gamers. It clearly takes great quantities of inspiration from Slay the Spire, but it puts more than enough spin on it to make it its own game entirely. Even so, it is choosing one of, if not *the*, best one to work off of. This game is genuinely incredible. 10/10, would Vulcard again, and I look forward to seeing what Goblin Games does with it in the future.
This is a true hidden gem for couch coop. Love the handmade style of the game.
This is a fun game with a cute art style! It needs some UI, quality of life and balance adjustments (I made a post in discussion about this) but is otherwise a great game. What it needs most is incrementally increasing challenge for each subsequent successful run, because my girlfriend and I broke this game in half and now it's become too easy at the base difficulty.
Vulcard was my first roguelike deckbuilder and i gotta say it did take some time to get into it. Especially the part of handling two chars at once, but I got used to that fact. Overall the game seems very lovely and has some solid ?battle logic? built into it. Can reccomend for anyone that's interested in trying out Vulcard or roguelike deckbuilders in general!
