Super polished fun! The sling shot becomes part of you. One of those easy to get into, difficult to master games that are fun for any skill level.
Sadly I haven't been able to use my VR kit lately, but I'll definitely be reinstalling this once I'm able to. It's a fun physics based game with heaps of content. The main mode is basically a VR angry birds clone, but the mini games add some nice variety. It's the kind of game that's suitable for all ages without being boring for adults. You can tell this is made by a small team, but they absolutely deserve your support on this. If you've got a SteamVR compatible kit, definitely get this.
A polished Angry Birds impersonation. It's fun for the entire family, whimsical and well constructed.
UPDATE 2019/10/27 No helmet. Usually in such games enemy die if enemy fall from a certain height, but often do not die. I think it's better to change ,because it loses its exhilaration.
Adorable and fun.
VR Furballs – Demolition is a physics-based virtual reality puzzle game developed and published by Gamily Studios. Designed specifically for VR platforms, the game centers on playful destruction, creative problem-solving, and hands-on interaction with a colorful cartoon world. At its core, the game takes a simple idea—launching small creatures at structures to knock them down—and transforms it into an immersive experience through the physical interaction that VR technology allows. While the concept may initially seem familiar to fans of physics puzzle games, the ability to physically aim, throw, and manipulate objects in virtual space adds a unique dimension that distinguishes the experience from traditional screen-based puzzle titles. The game introduces players to the Furballs, a group of round, fluffy creatures who find themselves in conflict with mischievous enemies known as the Baddies. These villains have captured several Furballs and hidden behind elaborate constructions made of wood, stone, ice, and other materials. Players take on the role of a rescuer tasked with breaking through these defenses and freeing the trapped creatures. The narrative itself is intentionally lighthearted and minimal, serving mainly as a playful backdrop for the puzzle challenges. Rather than focusing on storytelling, the game emphasizes the satisfaction of dismantling structures and experimenting with the game’s physics-driven mechanics. Gameplay revolves around demolishing enemy structures by launching Furballs using a variety of tools. Players interact with the environment through VR motion controllers, physically performing actions such as pulling back a slingshot, swinging a bat, or aiming projectiles at targets. This physical interaction is one of the most appealing aspects of the experience, as it allows players to feel directly involved in the action rather than simply pressing buttons. The sense of presence created by VR makes each successful hit feel more impactful, especially when a well-placed throw causes an entire tower of blocks to collapse in a satisfying chain reaction. As players progress through the game, they encounter a growing variety of Furballs with unique abilities designed to interact with different materials. Some Furballs are better suited for breaking heavy stone blocks, while others specialize in shattering fragile ice structures or knocking apart wooden supports. Understanding how these abilities work becomes an important part of solving the puzzles efficiently. Many levels require players to carefully observe the layout of the structures and determine the best point of impact in order to trigger a cascade of destruction. Because the number of available shots is often limited, strategic planning becomes just as important as accurate aiming. The game features more than fifty puzzle stages that gradually increase in complexity. Early levels serve as tutorials that introduce the basic mechanics and help players become comfortable with the VR controls. As the campaign progresses, the structures become more elaborate and require greater precision to dismantle effectively. Some levels encourage players to identify structural weak points, while others rely on creative use of special Furball abilities to break through layered defenses. The scoring system rewards efficiency, encouraging players to replay levels and refine their strategies in pursuit of perfect results. Beyond the main puzzle campaign, the game includes a variety of additional modes that add variety to the overall experience. Several mini-games provide arcade-style challenges that focus on accuracy, reflexes, and creative use of VR tools. These activities range from target shooting exercises to sports-inspired mechanics like throwing Furballs into basketball hoops. These smaller experiences serve as entertaining diversions from the main demolition puzzles and highlight the flexibility of the game’s interaction system. Another feature that extends the game’s longevity is the inclusion of a level editor. This tool allows players to design their own puzzle challenges by constructing structures, placing enemies, and experimenting with different environmental setups. Although the editor is relatively straightforward, it gives players the opportunity to create custom scenarios and share their ideas with others. For players who enjoy experimenting with physics-based gameplay systems, the level editor offers an additional layer of creative freedom that goes beyond the pre-built campaign levels. Visually, VR Furballs – Demolition adopts a bright and cheerful cartoon aesthetic that fits its playful theme. The Furballs themselves are designed to be cute and expressive, with exaggerated animations that add personality to their actions. The environments are filled with colorful structures and whimsical designs that stand out clearly within the VR space. This visual clarity is especially important in virtual reality, where players must quickly interpret the layout of each puzzle in order to plan their shots accurately. The sound design complements the lively visual presentation with energetic sound effects and lighthearted music. Every successful impact, collapsing structure, and defeated enemy is accompanied by satisfying audio feedback that reinforces the sense of physical interaction. The soundtrack maintains an upbeat tone that keeps the experience fun and relaxed, even when players need to retry levels multiple times to achieve the best possible results. Despite its many enjoyable qualities, the game does have some limitations. The central gameplay loop—launching Furballs and knocking down structures—remains largely consistent throughout the experience, which can lead to repetition during longer play sessions. While the puzzles gradually increase in complexity, the core mechanics do not evolve significantly beyond the initial concept. Additionally, because the game is built exclusively for VR, it requires compatible hardware, limiting its accessibility for players without virtual reality equipment. Even with these limitations, VR Furballs – Demolition succeeds as a fun and accessible VR puzzle experience. The combination of tactile interaction, physics-based gameplay, and colorful presentation creates a satisfying environment for experimentation and casual play. The game does not attempt to compete with large-scale VR adventures, but instead focuses on delivering short, engaging challenges that showcase the playful possibilities of virtual reality interaction. In the end, VR Furballs – Demolition stands as an enjoyable example of how familiar puzzle concepts can be revitalized through immersive VR controls. Its charming visuals, creative demolition puzzles, and interactive mechanics make it a pleasant experience for players looking for lighthearted entertainment in virtual reality. While the gameplay depth may be limited compared to larger titles, the sense of physical involvement and playful experimentation ensures that the experience remains entertaining throughout its colorful journey. I can't even begin to describe how amazing the developer are. When I first bought the game I had a few issues, and the game was unplayable. I reached out and told him about my problem. I took a few hours and the problem was fixed and could play the game. I may not have that many hours yet, but the game is amazingly fun. You get happy by playing it because the little furries are so cute! And the noises haha, just love it! So, when can I buy a plushie?
