Reviews
The reviews are mixed at the moment but I can say I recommend this game and see great potential in it. Currently the game is a collection of small island levels with quests that reminds me of those mods trying to turn minecraft into skyrim. The handcrafted levels look beautiful and immersive, with custom made dialogs and questlines. It's still rough on the gameplay side, but I can see it becoming really fun in the future. I could see Zeda-style weapons and dungeons being implemented in the future as well, maybe a bow/ hookshot? Don't expect Minecraft gameplay buying this game however, as many reviews seem to complain about this.
good amount of content, story is pretty alright though at times parts of the story felt disconnected to eachother. Combat is nothing crazy just good. Food could do with an adjustment as I played on very hard and felt like I was always hungry. Otherwise all around decent game no complaints.
Voxile has some really charming environments and stories - in particular many of the adventure modules feel well-polished and have a good sense of humor. The handcrafted levels have a particular beauty from the custom textures and blocks that give a great aesthetic. The survival elements could still use work, but I'm excited to see where the game goes.
Voxile is obviously early days, but has gigantic potential. The custom engine and graphics give you a sense of world and space, and all the basic systems are there for incredibly powerful world crafting that puts minecraft in the kindergarden. Can't wait to see where the devs take this, and will keep a close eye on all developments! If you enjoy seeing where voxel tech is going, there's nothing better out there.
I want to like this game but it's so horribly optimized and the UI is garbage, other than that the game seems fine so far. Please work on those issues Also my game keeps crashing when approaching a building
Good game, my little nephew loves it. Nice looking art style and the dialogue is cheesy but funny. Definitely enjoyed playing through the campaign
It's a solid game with a lot of potential, being actively developed. I really enjoy the authored levels, there's so much variation and creativity in each one. Had some fun nights going through those with my friends, The survival mode definitely needs polish to stand next to other survival titles. Don't expect a Minecraft experience from that gamemode. You can also build your own levels entirely from scratch, or edit existing ones, with all the tools the designers have. (Currently the only way to send them to your friends is to send the file manually.)
Good looking game. Wish to the dev - please change the heartbeat sound that indicates "low" hp, words cannot describe how annoying it is to listen to.
I love the graphics and the 3x3x3 voxel grid Minecrafty feel and I've had a bit of fun with the adventure scenarios, but the survival part of the game is currently horrible. There is no clear technology progression, and I have no idea where to find certain materials. That part really feels rushed and unpolished and not fun at all to play.
Voxile is visually impressive, with a detailed voxel world that makes exploration genuinely engaging. Adventure mode shows thoughtful level design, and the dialogues add context and personality to the environment. The destructible elements and interactive objects make the world feel alive and rewarding to explore. While some mechanics like crafting and inventory could be clearer, experimenting with them is fun and adds depth. Survival mode introduces a good sense of challenge with dynamic enemy encounters. Overall, Voxile combines strong visuals, immersive environments, and solid gameplay foundations, making it a promising Early Access title with lots of potential.
