really bad fight at the end makes it not worth the effort. game is very good until the if that bad fight scene was removed it would be agreat game and get great reviews.
Fun if a little short adventure game. Kinda feels like it's missing a second act as the mystery is revealed in rapid speed. Still a good time to be had except from one particular instance of "moon logic" midway through. Great voice acting!
If you like point and clicks, get it! It has plenty of humor/satire that never seems forced or over the top, and the puzzles are appropriately challenging--not easy enough that it's basically a walking simulator, and not too hard that you need to follow a guide for anything to make sense. The only downside is that it's a relatively short game, so a long of things aren't incredibly fleshed out. Which doesn't mean that it doesn't tell a cohesive and engaging story, it does, just that now I wish for a little more. Perhaps a second game one day.

this is the exact vibe i was looking for when i searched point-and-click detective game
Got it cus of the art style, wasnt disappointed
It's pretty good.
It's a 12/10 game. Outstanding music, drawings and voice-acting. Happy those games are still made.
Short but nice point and click adventure. It really takes you back to the 90s. Buy it!
◾◾🔹🔷◾ [+1] Enjoyable Neat, but nothing special Not really much to say about this one. You're a Voodoo Detective (legal name), investigating the memory loss of your client. The story isn't anything to write home about, characters aren't too memorable, but still distinctive, voice acting is decent, art looks pretty good (especially backgrounds, not so much for animations). So, not a masterpiece, but nothing to complain about. Puzzles mostly make sense, but I had to go to the hints a couple times, because the solution felt like nonsense, but generally they are okay, and signposted pretty well - sometimes even too well, and once you see a puzzle, you immediately know the solution - especially since you have a book of magic recipes that is small enough that you're gonna use all of them at one point or another. You decide if it's a good thing or not. Also I gotta mention separately, humor. The game occasionally can be really funny, I laughed a few times out loud, but these moments aren't too common, and generally game doesn't raise above "he-he, amusing" level.
And also it does a sin I see adventure games do very often, is that it tries to show some sort of romance without any actual build up. So in the end, I just decided to go with an ending that doesn't involve a ressurrection, and go hang out with my brother
But ultimately, with just 4 hours of playtime (or even less, as I got distracted while playing so game was running in the background for a bit), it's a perfectly enjoyable game to spend a night on
