Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What a gem! Respect for devs! I haven't played anything similar! I like so many things about this game! Style, world, music, battle system, enemy design, have i said style? well, one more time style, progression, secrets... This game is a definite must have! There are some problems, like battling can feel janky at the start, dull world and too bright colorful lights, somewhat strange stuff with save points. But after like 30 minutes, you'll understand that these are not problems, but quirks, and they fit right in! This game feels like a fever dream, but in the best way!

My first impressions. The game has a fantastic style and a great sense of humor. I haven't played any game recently where the map has been designed with such detail and put together so neatly. The game's combat mechanics are enjoyable, and searching for rings is fun.
This game was grimy, ugly and strangely hopeful. Gameplay was sick, music was bangin', voice acting was fantastic, visuals were nasty, I loved every minute of it. thank you devs this was a blast to play.
8.5 out of 10 since nothig is perfect in my mind it still was one heck of an game worth an play even with an bit of the jank it did have.
suda51-inspired design meets a metriodvania? yeah. hell yeah. this game is *jank*. it's weird. there's stuff you probably shouldn't be able to do that you can do. but that's what makes this experience so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible. every ounce of this game is some wacky and insane ♥♥♥♥ that, while unintuitive in some sections, definitely makes up for it in the latter half. incredible music, easy-to-hate (or love) characters, stuff you can or can't miss. this world puts you knee-deep in blood, iron, and electricity, and it feels so good to crawl out of it.
I'm a little over an hour in and the atmosphere interconnectedness and general gameplay is great! It really captures that exploring on your own and figuring it out vibe that draws me to metroidvania/search action games(depending on your preference). It manages to balance feeling organic and self directed without being so unguided as to feel like I'm lost or unsure of where to go. It's impressive and really fun. If you're still reading this and you're interested, then stop reading and start playing.
As of time of writing this review, game is in the version 1.3. I enjoyed it, it has interesting world, own story, interesting design and feels nice to roam around in. I really like the story and occasional voice acted videos about local creatures, or messages. It does still have rough corners and questionable decisions but as of now the game is 100% completeable and playable without game breaking bugs. I would recommend this game for people that enjoy somewhat surreal aesthetics of it as well as fps parkour and fighters.
Voltage High Society is an inventive blend of first-person action, immersive exploration, and Metroidvania-inspired progression that carves out its own identity within the indie gaming scene. Developed by Platonic Partnership and published by Coyote Time Publishing, the game transports players to Nemo Ultra, a decaying prison island where advanced cybernetics and horrifying biological mutations have transformed the facility into a nightmare. Rather than focusing on cinematic storytelling, the game encourages players to piece together the world's history through environmental clues, hidden locations, and gradual discoveries. This approach creates a satisfying sense of mystery that rewards those willing to explore every corner of its interconnected map. One of the game's defining features is its commitment to exploration. Unlike conventional first-person shooters that emphasize constant firefights, Voltage High Society adopts the progression philosophy of classic Metroidvania titles. Players begin with extremely limited capabilities, relying only on their fists before gradually unlocking new weapons, movement techniques, and special abilities. Each upgrade serves multiple purposes, making combat more dynamic while simultaneously opening paths that were previously inaccessible. Revisiting earlier areas becomes a rewarding experience rather than repetitive backtracking, as newly acquired powers reveal shortcuts, hidden collectibles, and additional secrets scattered throughout the prison complex. Combat favors close-range encounters over traditional gunplay, creating a more aggressive and physical experience. Instead of standing back and eliminating enemies from afar, players must carefully manage spacing, dodge incoming attacks, and capitalize on melee opportunities. As the arsenal expands, encounters become increasingly varied without abandoning the game's emphasis on skillful positioning and timing. Enemy designs showcase an unsettling fusion of machinery and flesh, with each creature presenting distinct attack patterns that prevent battles from becoming repetitive. Boss fights further reinforce the game's focus on mastery, demanding careful observation and effective use of every ability acquired during exploration. The atmosphere is among the strongest aspects of the experience. Nemo Ultra is filled with abandoned laboratories, rusting industrial machinery, dark corridors, and grotesque experiments that create a persistent sense of unease. The developers clearly draw inspiration from cyberpunk fiction and classic body horror, resulting in environments that feel oppressive and unpredictable. Every location contributes to the feeling that civilization has collapsed beneath unchecked technological experimentation. Rather than relying on frequent jump scares, the game builds tension through environmental storytelling, disturbing creature designs, and an ever-present feeling that danger could emerge from any direction. Its visual presentation embraces a retro-inspired aesthetic reminiscent of late-1990s first-person games while incorporating modern lighting and atmospheric effects. Low-polygon environments, pixelated textures, and intentionally nostalgic design choices give the game a unique personality instead of attempting photorealism. This artistic direction complements the disturbing themes remarkably well, making the grotesque enemies and decaying architecture even more memorable. The sound design also plays a significant role, using industrial ambience, mechanical noises, and eerie environmental effects to maintain suspense throughout exploration. Music appears strategically during major encounters, allowing silence and ambient sounds to heighten immersion during quieter moments. The game's progression system successfully encourages curiosity by rewarding players who thoroughly investigate every area. Hidden passages, optional upgrades, collectibles, and environmental puzzles provide meaningful incentives to stray from the main path. Every newly unlocked ability feels significant because it influences both navigation and combat, creating a satisfying sense of continuous growth. This careful balance between exploration and action ensures that advancement rarely feels linear, allowing players to uncover the world at a pace that suits their own curiosity. Voltage High Society succeeds because it confidently commits to its unconventional design philosophy instead of following established genre expectations. Its combination of first-person melee combat, interconnected world design, cyberpunk horror, and retro visuals results in an experience that feels refreshingly distinct. While its slower exploratory pacing and emphasis on backtracking may not appeal to players looking for nonstop action, those who appreciate atmospheric world-building, meaningful progression, and rewarding exploration will discover a memorable adventure with plenty of personality.
