Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Sep 1 → 6.43/day in the week after.

The short version: This is a fun train game with an absolutely non-sensical story that barely anything makes sense. The long version, Void Train is an ok survival game focused on your train and the void. It can be enjoyable if you just enjoy the ride and don't worry too much about it. Just hop into your train and ride away. Still, it is a very flawed game too. The balance is alright until you reach the end game, where you get so much stuff you have no idea what to do with. You start dumping your items around because they are just garbage. The gun system is also interesting, but so poorly explained it feels frustrating to make your guns. I think the elephant in the room is definitely the story though. When the game released there was none and it was empty. Then it added the story and it starts ok... But then it becomes more and more nonsensical, with characters and factions that leave you scratching your head of who the heck they are and where did they come from. By the end this feels a bit intentional, but it also makes you so confused and at some point you just stop caring unfortunately. By the end of the game I was just wanting the story to be done with rather than enjoying it. Rofleemos are adorable and fun though, they really make the game feel alive. Neat little fellas.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I liked this game, looks beautiful and quite chill . A lot of nice mechanics but feels, like devs could expand them much more , add more dynamic, more epic moments more use of them. Puzzles and platforming are too simple . Because of only narrator, feels like he's the main character. Damn, wish I'd be part of your team during production :) . Overall is a nice game , I enjoyed it .
This is one of the times (which is almost every time), I hate, that there is only a thumbs up or a thumbs down option to rate the game. Considering, that this game appears to be done and there is no active development going on, I'll have to say: no, don't buy, not for that price. The positives: Beautiful graphics, great atmosphere, a lot of work has gone into the appearance and feel. I really love the looks of the trains and the giant structures out in the void. The story serves very well as a tutorial by taking you by the hand and leading you through the concepts. The mechanics are clean, things handle very consistently. Exceptions may be the occasional "weapon jam", when it just doesn't fire, despite being loaded, I don't know if it's a feature or a bug. Which makes a nice segue into the negatives: many things are simply not explained and not all explanations can be found on the internet (which seems to be now, what most game developers rely on lazily: for the community to do their work for them). But we'll ignore that - if you are the proud owner of a browser and have access to Google, you'll be fine. What is problematic is: the repetetiveness of the chores, that have to be done over and over becomes annoying after a while. What keeps you hooked at first is the story, which keeps you wondering, what remains to come. But the story - other than the overall optical design - was made with less love. It feels generic and it's over fairly quickly. After that, you're left with the chores and gathering materials for the mere sake of improving your train. The latter feeling a bit pointless, because you no longer have a purpose. That disappeared along with the story ending about halfway through the development. I have very mixed feelings about this. As I said: the platform (the train and the void) is really superb, I would have loved to stay with it. My hope, is that the creators will take that well spent effort and reuse it for a version 2 of the game. And then add a more compelling story, allow for exploration. Maybe even add railroad switches, so as to allow the player to make actual decisions and explore different areas.
To be upfront: the reason I didn't like this was largely due to the lack of a feeling of making my train a home. I felt like I was living on an assembly line for the entire game. The decor options are limited and don't really feel like they're customizing the train to make it train to make it more welcoming so much as just taking up space. I wish they'd been more integrated into it - I'm not the developers so I won't speculate how, but the way every car was an open floor plan made me want to not bother after I decorated a single car. The on rails nature made some things feel more like busywork than anything else. There weren't any interesting choices about paths during a run, just a relentless single line. Ultimately this is not a mobile base in any way that matters - it's effectively a stationary one. I stopped feeling like I was actually driving a train pretty early on, which tanked my enjoyment. The combat was really barebones and immediately felt like a chore rather than a challenge (and ramping up the difficult just increased the time investment, not the skill requirement). I still liked the train aesthetic, but the longer I played the more I felt like I was the one committed to it, not the game.
its still a buggy mess, I haven't been able to close my inventory any time I open it no matter what I do unless I force quit.
