This is one of my favorite VS-likes, and it follows the mold of Brotato, in that every character has plusses and minuses, and figuring out how to exploit the former and mitigate the latter constitutes the main fun of the game. Also, like Brotato, there is no meta upgrade store; your power grows indirectly, via unlocked power-ups. Only the final character has any meta-progression to speak of (power-ups that are based on how many wins you had in each mode), but by then the game has been pretty much played out. I unlocked all items and characters, and powered up the final character about 30 times before I began to crave a new experience and uninstalled the game. 8/10
Awesome game. If you've played any Caiys games, particularly Boneraiser Minions, you're in good hands here. It has that "Caiys" flavor to it, through and through. It's just a really solid Vampire Survivors-like. Tons of characters, and a good variety of weapons/items/other, with multiple game modes. For what the game costs, you're getting the good end of the bargain here. There are tons of achievements, and you're going to get quite a bit of playtime. Check it out.
This game is really fun but hard. I really like the mechanical objects floating around and getting bigger and more strange, that's a nice touch. Would be nice to see some more mechanical player models and items etc rather than plain sprites.
boneraisers minions 2 with scifi.
Very good Survivorlike that partially builds on Boneraiser Minions but also does many things differently, with satisfying combos and a lot of things to optimize and tweak about your build. My only criticism is that, while it offers shorter runs, you'll really need to play the longer/higher difficulty ones for a lot of the progression mechanics to start mattering. Still it's a quicker game than most others in this genre, so not a huge deal.
It's even better than Boneraiser Minions and that's saying a lot.
GO VEGAN !
It's a cog rising game from bone rising dude, what would you expect. Only top notch content.
Fun and addictive roguelike!
