This is easily one of my favourite games of 2026, hands down, and IMO a solid contender for GOTY! As someone who's been a massive fan of Skylanders for years, this scratches that itch for a new game I've had for almost a decade, and the team behind this (which happen to be former developers of the Skylanders series) did an incredible job at capturing Skylanders' distinct style and gameplay feel, while at the same time also feeling like its own thing with both original elements and some inspired from games like Spore! Perhaps we could call it Sporelanders? XD I love just about everything about this game, from its style/aesthetic, to its interesting premise, to its beautiful world design and adorably bizarre creatures, and let's not forget it's very fluid and addictively fun gameplay, which I can best describe as sort of like a mix of Skylanders' and Ratchet & Clank's combat and various gameplay mechanics. Not to mention the more Zen parts at home base where I essentially raise these creatures, have them perform tasks to improve/level up, make 'em breed and incubate/hatch eggs to get more Voidlings, they give me some serious Palworld vibes, but without any of the animal abuse obviously. XD (I know there's a bunch of games those elements could be compared to, but Palworld is the one I'm most familiar with.) NGL I had so much fun livestreaming Voidling Bound on launch day, and while live I didn't even realized I had played it for 4 hours straight on-stream because of how fast time flew by playing! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzZzfBwy7-c While I haven't finished the game yet (I've had a lot on my plate lately), but after sinking 10 hours into it so far, already I love this game enough to deem Voidling Bound is one of the BEST games of 2026, and an absolute must-play, at $25 it's more than worth it! Not convinced? Then download the demo and try it for yourself, it'll give you a taste of how awesome this game is, and NTM your progress from the demo carries over to the full game, once you're ready!
Its greatness can only be defined by itys greatness
El apartado artístico es precioso. El gameplay está genial. Puedes coleccionar muchos bichos. Es verdad que se puede llegar a ser un pelín repetitivo, pero honestamente, le he echado muchas horas seguidas al juego y no me cansa. Recomiendo
Voidling Bound absolutely nails the fun part: building your Voidling. The amount of customization through evolution, breeding, genes, perks, and Catalyzers is honestly ridiculous, and experimenting with different builds is the game's biggest strength. My biggest mistake was finding a build I loved and using it for almost the entire campaign. By the time I reached the endgame, I realized I could already push the Abyss hundreds of floors with that same build, so I never really had a reason to experiment with all the other possibilities. That's on me as much as the game. The Abyss is designed as an endless challenge, but I found it became repetitive long before my build stopped working. There are also a few quality-of-life rough edges around the hub that I'd love to see streamlined, but nothing that seriously hurt my experience. If you're expecting a polished single-player creature-builder with an absurd amount of build variety, it's easy to recommend. Just don't make the same mistake I did—experiment throughout the campaign instead of saving all the fun for the endgame.
Очень залипательная игра. Прошёл демку и сразу взял полную версию. Существа отличаются друг от друга по боёвке очень сильно. Можно и отредактировать скилы. Рекомендую к ознакомлению и покупке.
Me like
I like the game, it's a relatively unique way of handling a creature collector and was much more fun to play than a turn based game like pokemon. HOWEVER, the game feels.... very limited. Like there's only 9 creatures? and each creature only has two elements it can evolve into? That's.... a crazy low amount. not to mention that the combat arenas are pretty much the same no matter the area (they're all floating islands on different planets). it just kinda makes the experience lesser for me personally. And tbh the entire game while it did run smooth as silk and didn't have many bugs still feels like it's early access due to the lack of content and the fact that training your voidlings is a IRL wait timer per creature. I know I shouldn't ask much from a game under $30usd. But I just wanted more that's how good the game is in terms of its actual gameplay loop. So with all that being said I WILL recommend the game, but I can only do so on a large sale as personally the $25 I spent on this game while fun only lasted under 10hrs for the base part and not the endgame, that's would be find if it was $20 or $15, but for a near $30 game? Nah, Needs more. So take my criticisms with a grain of salt and sugar as I DO like the game. I just want MORE.
Its awesome I love being able to play as creatures. I hope they add more to the game
love this game
The game levels aren't that long which keeps the grinding part of the game from getting tedious. The Voidling models look fantastic. The gameplay itself is a lot of fun.
