Because of it's pedigree, I wanted to like this game. I tried to like game. But ultimately, it's a bunch of almost-good ideas struggling to balance itself. Normal mode is too easy, you can tank/kill anything that opposes you and trip over loot every few steps. Hard mode and up requires luck in amounts that make me question whether I'm playing the game correctly (I googled it. I'm not). Once you've beaten the game, you can turn the difficulty up, but that's about it. If you really really like rogue games, buy it on sale and beat it once or twice on Normal, maybe Hard if you're feeling frisky, and move on. It's not good for much more than that.
if you're looking for a comedic loot driven vault diving roguelike, this does a much better job than similar titles such as Wasted. Your deaths here don't feel as punishing, exploring the locations feels more rewarding, and the AI and gunplay feels much better - despite your gun taking up a third or more of the screen.

Rebinding keys is all messed up. Plus, I can put crouch on my mouse thumb button. Opening/closing, locking/unlocking doors by pointing at a tiny target is quite frustrating.
I finished the game on normal difficulty. I really liked the art style. Gameplay was fun enough, although I didn't see a reason to utilize many of the weapons available. The game encourages stealth, which I liked. Looting ships gave some easy dopamine. However, I got the game for one third of the price when it was on sale. It's definitely not worth the full price. As of now I've played a few minutes of a harder difficulty run. You can check if I have more hours after writing this review and do what you will with that information.
Super fun roguelike with some strategy elements. Will update more as I play more.
A favorite of mine for when I want to just shoot up some baddies. The comic book aesthetic sells this game for me, so cool.
we're all just goop arent we?
I played another 30 hours of this on a different account. Its a really fun rogue like with a good amount of advancement as you go, I think its good.
Tongue in cheek humor, fast gameplay, love the 'trash into usable parts' kind of games
The game is unplayable on apple silicon
