i bought this game cause the art style tickled my neurons! the game itself is rather simple (simple, not to be confused with easy). dock, loot, shoot, run, upgrade, paperwork, dock, loot, shoot, walk, get eaten by a space worm, anger, acceptance, dock, loot, shoot, explode, regret, acceptance, dock, loot, shoot, realize you cannot date the pirates, suffocate, cry, bargain, acceptance, dock, run, shoot, loot and repeat! 10/10 would recommend!
I cant quite pin point it, but this just doesnt do anything for me. I think I got it for $15... And if you enjoy this kind of game, thats all its worth.. At $30 dollars or more, is insulting!

Great game, originally played the hell out of it on Xbox One. Bought it again cos I had the itch on steam. It's one of those games where you find yourself saying "oh, just one more ship, then I'll stop" and it ends up 4 am. Love it! Wonderful grisly humorous gem of a roguelike.
I've enjoyed it. Though it can be aggravating to die a lot but that's the point of it being a rogue-like. The gaming loop is basically just looting storage containers while avoiding or dealing with enemies and environmental hazards. There's not a ton of variety here sadly. Even at the five hour mark, all the ships pretty much look the same. You're fighting the same enemies as well. It's a fantastic game but for $30? Nah, if this is on sale for $20 or less, get it.
This game doesn't have enough ratings. It's superb and unique. Play it.
I really enjoyed my time playing this game. I generally don't look for games to keep me playing 200 hours and I like when a game doesn't try to waste my time by padding out content. This game knows what it is, a fun little roguelite shooter with a great atmosphere and some funny jokes. It doesn't overstay its welcome and the content it has is well polished.
I've like to give it a good opinion, but it's just too random and there's not much replay value (despite how that seems contradictory), Once you complete it you don't really get anything new for replaying it, and the game doesn't seem to have any sort of consistent balance, you can end up with basically free ride ships early on, or you can start a new game and every ship around you will be filled with screws, outpatients and juvies with security all over, and nearly every choice will be the same. The inconsistency is why this is getting a negative. nothing is more frustrating than looking at your options and knowing there is absolutely no option you'll be able to actually survive on, but having no choice but to pick one. It's like having to choose between getting kicked in the balls by someone anonymous, kicked in the balls by someone you know, or kicked in the balls by multiple people at random throughout the day. Or you might get lucky and for no reason nobody's around to kick you in the balls, and it's a free stroll down the street.
Very hit or miss. It's competent, but if you've played other roguelikes it's likely they're more engaging and varied. The gunplay here feels flat even if the overworld design and world concept are pretty great. I get it's part of the challenge but I'm not super interested in the thin amounts of ammo you have to manage and the core loop doesn't seem to really change all that much. There's some options for stealth as decoration but ultimately everything is solved by shooting through the rooms.
The style got me but I found it to be really dull. I only have 11 minutes so maybe don't listen to my review but idk man I really just couldn't get hooked by it
All is there: Ego-shooter rogue like, cool style, polished appearance. But one thing isn't: fun. I am a sucker for these kind of games, but this one is just painfully slow, and punishes you for trying to get forward. And harshly limiting ammo in a shooter is like limiting gas in a racing game; Why would you do that?
