Visionarium 2 - The Descent

The best VR relaxation series!

This is a 40 minute "sit and experience" type deal, but it does it SOOO good. Especially if your goal is to give a friend (or family member) a first-time experience into VR. The visuals are inspiring and engaging, and the music/soundtrack works well with it. Being a 30+ year PC gamer I have played HUNDREDS of games with amazing visuals, but this one genuinely made me crack a grin across my face and made my mind just go "WOW". I was not expecting that, as I am hard to impress. Definitely hope to see a Visionarium 3, especially if they make use of newer graphics like Unreal Engine 5.

This is hands down the most psychedelic experience you can get in VR without taking illegal drugs. I already have played a few "experience" songs in "Synth Riders" (like "Legends never die" or Muse's "Algorithm") and tried several expierences in "Liminal VR", but nothing comes close to this. Some of the artworks shown in "Visionarium 2" are really oustanding and truly beautiful. As there is not much to interact with during the journey, you can spend your time with creating fancy particle effects or lighting your enviroment with blue and red "lamps" with the triggers of your controllers, which makes some of the structures appear even more psychedelic. You can also mute the soundtrack of the trip in the menu by activating the microphone of your headset and if you say something then, the game will replay it for you (it can be an interesting experience to hear your own voice like others hear it). "Visionarium 2" impressively shows what incredible experiences VR is able to offer. If there ever should be a "Visionarium 3" - count me in!
