About
Dr. Corvid, a mad scientist with a penchant for chaos, has unleashed his latest experiment — the Virballs, virus-like creatures that manipulate elemental forces. Now, entire planets are overrun with these mischievous entities, spreading fire, wind, and electrical havoc across the galaxy.
As ORB, an Object Removal Bot armed with rocket-powered claws, it’s up to you to track down these volatile creatures, harness their powers, and save the galaxy from Corvid’s creations before it’s too late.
Dive into this thrilling, action-packed platformer and stop the spread of Dr. Corvid’s chaos. Here’s what you’ll be doing in Virballs:
Grab Virballs with ORB’s grappler claws and fuse their elemental properties — Earth, Water, Fire, Electricity, Air, and Slime — into unique hybrid weapons. Experiment with more than 40 different combinations to unlock powerful new ways to battle enemies.
Run, jump, and blast through levels packed with enemies, traps, and environmental puzzles. With ORB’s trusty blasters, thrusters, and claws, you’ll conquer every obstacle in your way.
Six unique planets have been infested with Dr. Corvid’s Virballs. Each planet poses new threats and requires creative use of Virball powers to clear the infestation.

The adorable, peaceful Floobers are in danger - help the Floober King rescue his people and evacuate to their ship!
Challenge ultra-powerful Virball bosses to unlock new elemental Cores, expanding ORB’s arsenal and unlocking even more devastating weapon combinations.
Begin your journey in Steam Early Access, with more planets and missions added over time. The full game, featuring all six planets, launches in early 2025!

Clever core "Enemies are ammo" design with a lot of fun combinations and weapon choices. Worth checking out. GG!
Wow I came across this game by chance. I never would have seen it had I not been scrolling through the list of new games .. It's really cool. Like a mix of kirby and megaman but in 3D. I feel bad for the developers of this game. It needs more marketing I think because this having only 3 reviews is criminal. I've only completed the first level but im really pleasantly surprised by everything. The animations are good, abilities are fun, you can enter a turbo mode and roll around. It's got all the makings of a a great 3d action platformer/third person shooter. UI could use some improvement, for example the health bars on enemies just being green bars. It has a bit of indie jank to it in that regard, but far far less than I was expecting and I'm suprised at the production quality of this despite having only a couple reviews.
Fun as heck!! Got the game because I know one of the devs and the game doesn't disappoint one bit :33 Cute virballs and the jumpy guys you gotta save look so funny
This has the spirit of the 3D platform adventure/shooter games of the PS1 and early PS2 era, and that's a good thing. If you think to yourself "Why is there nothing like spyro or ratchet & clank being made today?", give this a try. It's currently in early access, but the devs are highly communicative, running weekly streams, showing their pipeline, etc - I have confidence this is a team that will finish something, and not a pipe dream.
This is a strange and adorable game!
I love the Floobers that are the rescue objective in some of the levels. The sound effects are spot on for the visuals and the music is epic. Boss fights get more and more intense as the spectacular boss animations grow more complicated with each world. There are many different weapons between the virball elements and the cores that are added with each world completed, and the switching menu is good at showing that matrix. The game play is smooth, supporting a run and gun or steady assault style of play. Since anything you destroy gives back health to some degree, it's possible to choose to destroy for health or to claw the tiny virballs to get more ammo of their type. Anyway, it's a solid game and well worth the price.
I really liked it, I may just adress the fact to cosider more interactions or more funny moments. The game look to be fuel for more fun interactionts or jokes, IDK but it´s really good
Whimsical and fun lil 3D platformer, great fun to just kick back shoot cute little evil balls. The element-mixing system is a neat quirk and it's fun to experiment with all the combinations and find your favorite weapon. Good stuff!
Really enjoyable premise and artstyle! The game mechanics are a clear love letter to the original Kirby games, and the unlockable power-ups and enemies are very creative. I also like how the difficulty isn't too hard, but it's not a breeze either; boss challenges are hard, but fair.
The balls are cute! I like the collecting aspect that is paired with the different types of ammo you can use in the game! The bosses can be pretty challenging so you definitely need to utilize the correct type of balls for each. ;)
Virballs is a very challenging and fun game! Highly recommended for all ages!
