I just got this couple days ago and it looks so f****** good and I had techniques 1200 back in the 90s and man they were amazing and these bring back so much memories I am 52 years old I still love DJing I sold all my equipment a few years back and let me tell you something this is the best $20 I've ever spent in my life. It brings me back right to the heart man very good job the graphics are amazing so clean it's beautiful the sound of an clarity is just A Step Above what I've seen from anybody else. Vibe is nowhere near graphically as good as what you created here. If you can just find a way to have a scan feature built in for beats per minute BPM that would be truly the best thing on Steam. So please if you create anything else go with a current version of a pioneer cdjs or something whatever is their best and bring it because I know you as far as developers of this product and how close you came on the last one for the techniques 1200s there's no way you can f*** this up. I have faith! Please make that your next project! I can't wait to see what you guys are going to do, this is amazing!!
Happiness is... a good VINYL and I love that all your digital music is turned into Virtual Records! I own 2 1200s and am used to working with vinyl. I am happy with the way this feels, power on, picking out your record, plopping it down on the platter, picking up the tonearm and putting the virtual needle to the record adjusting pitch if needed. The mixer works great, cue is easy to understand and sound is solid. You can throw records and not damage them! It's a great deal, very glad to have. Would be cool to see a cue light
One of the best, if not the best VR DJ apps. Very intuitive and very reactive. Had an issue with the avatars and the dev took less than 24hrs to fix it. So happy with my purchase, thanks TT!
Just bought it and tried it for 2 hours. I have 0 experience in how to mix tracks or even use a DJ controller at all. But the very quick tutorial gave me an overview of what the most important parts are about. Without any further tutorials I just jumped in with some of my own favourite tracks. I was (obviously) very bad but it was so much fun to try stuff out and get at least one half hearted transition done. :D Can't wait to experiment even more. Best option out there to try this stuff out at this price point without buying any real life equipment. <3
I rarely make reviews with low playtime like this, but man this is a gem. There's no bad surprises to find out later as this is a DJ simulation, so really what you see is what you get, and it's freaking good! I was looking for a modern DJ sim like Tribe XR but without the subscription or account requirements. Vinyl is obviously more limited and very different from the DJing I did in my teenage years on a USB Numark Mixtrack, so I was hesitant and went in thinking I'd probably refund it. The result? A 3-hour set where I had a blast! The controls work really well(*), you can do what you'd expect with the platters, slow them down or speed them up using the edges or the spindle... The virtual monitoring works great and after 15 minutes I was in the groove learning how to sync vinyls, which I've never done before. You can use virtual cameras to display angles on your monitor, and record your mixes from the master. The only negative would be the lack of environments that ship with the game, you get a minimalist black room, a big club and a livestreaming set (similar to a TV studio). You can however download community environments from mod.io to fill that hole. So yeah, basic but really, really solid DJ sim! (*) I haven't tried any scratching as I'm not good with that at all, so I can't really tell if it works. EDIT: You might notice I only played a few more hours since writing that review, and that's because I uuuh... I might have bought a DJ controller again for Christmas. My review still stands though. If you use VR more than me, it's a great buy!
игра хорошая, для любителей рейвов самое оно, играл много ( из-за vdxr не видно сколько я наиграл но я думаю часов 35-50) игра была куплена по скидки за 100 рублей)
WOW WOW IM AMAZED! Love you who did this program
Cool VR utility. Interaction with the tables and knobs could be a bit more robust but otherwise very cool. Only real criticism is it does not support m4a files and developer has stated multiple times in the forums that they have no intention to. Purchased for $8 during a sale.
"EXC-ELL-ENT!!! Finally, something that really works in VR! I'm not sure if I'd go DJing in a club with it, but for testing things at home or spinning some records, it's the best tool I've ever had in my hands (much better than Pioneer-style turntables). The sensations are there! The sound setup allows you to separate headphones and master. One drawback: Too much latency! UNFORTUNATELY!!! The delay between headphone pre-listening and broadcast makes the use of the software IMPOSSIBLE! My computer is a powerhouse, yet it cracks at 128 samples, and 256 is too high for precision cutting. I'm really sad; the sensations are there, the sound is excellent, but these few details that would be super easy to fix and might even give rise to a new class of DJs make the experience painful. ASIO ASIO ASIO!!! Even if it means making a more expensive pro version, I'd buy it myself! I tried "Pioneer Tribe," which, in my opinion, is much less fun. It's a complex system, and the buttons are unpleasant to handle, especially with the light rings on my Reverb controllers."
ESCAPE REALITY
Got into the groove, dropped a perfect mix and took a swig of my beverage in a humbling moment of smugness, then proceeded to place my drink down on the edge of my decks and as the table didn't actually exist my glass fell to the floor spilling all over my carpet. For a brief moment in time I was so immersed I forgot about reality!
