Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Wanted to get my two criticisms out of the way as I believe these can be easily fixed: 1. I'm wondering if there's a memory leak or something happening in the backend, because after playing a while, I notice a bunch of stages have framerate drops. I know for a fact it's not a hardware problem on my end, so I don't think it's a stretch to update the game and address the framerate issues; 2. Time Attack allows you to randomize the time of day when you select a track, but it always starts with the daytime filter; you'll only see the sky change colours when you reset after starting the race. Kind of annoying. All that said, VHR is an excellent retro-styled racing game, proudly wearing its Daytona USA inspiration on its sleeve. Because drifting is an essential mechanic, most characters are at their best when you max out Acceleration and balance Speed and Handling (unless you play as Pepe). But since you're having so much fun drifting through the Japan tracks, unlocking the incredibly attractive female characters and all your car colours (I am biased and I don't care), I doubt the 'lack of variety' in car builds will deter most players. Certain kinds of 'people' tried to cancel the VHR developers because they don't think killing someone over political opinions is a good idea, and that's why I ended up buying it in the first place. After playing to 100% completion, I can say for sure you will have a great time playing this game. (It even has local multiplayer!)

The game is really fun, pick-up-and-play friendly. Everything is honestly good: The controls, the artstyle, the character+stage designs, the music, all good and acceptable. I do got to say I really loved the Rally tracks the most. They were the most enjoyable tracks in the game. I do wish the characters had more time to shine. They look cool and cute but they just have one text and voice line of personality. Maybe more of a VN storytelling or something like XGRA/Star Fox where they have lines and reactions to what you're doing could help them shine more. I'm happy to support a game and idea like this. The main story mode is pretty easy and does only take around 4 hours, though I skipped almost all the side paths, I couldn't even unlock the one character(Lucy) I wanted the most lol. So if you're not truly hooked it could be a hard buy when not on sale.
Classic 16 bit arcade racing action that blends the best from games like F-Zero and Mario Kart. Extremely hot women too, so that is always a welcomed sight. Apparently the creators of this are alt-right or something? I don’t know if that’s the case, but if it is then damn these guys cooked.
My score: 6.5/10 ⭐TL;DR: A colorful and charming arcade racer with an excellent soundtrack, but a rather limited selection of modes and not much variety between cars. Fun while it lasts, though.
Overview
It's exactly what it seems: a colorful arcade racer with a Saturday-morning-cartoon aesthetic and a strong retro feel. The presentation is easily its strongest aspect, but the game lacks the variety needed to keep it interesting for very long. More modes, a track editor, or a proper multiplayer career could have gone a long way. The cars and drivers also feel fairly interchangeable, with limited customization and some cars simply being faster than others. ✔️ Liked: Being able to restart a race from the beginning at any point, even in multi-track Grand Prix events. ✖️ Didn't: The world map looks like a colorful little Mario World, but the tracks themselves are surprisingly restrictive. You can't even really go off-road, which makes the game feel like it was one step away from offering something unique.
Key Points

DIFFICULTY:
The learning curve is quite steep and somewhat inconsistent. Most difficult races are challenging because of the fast AI rather than the tracks themselves. The optional challenges can get downright brutal, requiring near-perfect drifting, but thankfully they're not necessary for all achievements and unlocks.

PRESENTATION:
Easily the highlight. The colorful, cartoonish environments look great, and the soundtrack by Roberto Bazzoni (RoBKTA) and Alyssa Moore (GWIZ) is excellent. A few more animation frames for the cars wouldn't have hurt, though.

STORY:
A very basic championship/career structure, with just enough character personality to give the cast some flavor.

GAMEPLAY LOOP:
Standard circuits, rally tracks and extra challenges such as slaloms and overtaking/score attacks. The driving is enjoyable, but the limited variety becomes noticeable pretty quickly.

TECHNICAL POLISH:
Nothing game-breaking in my experience. I did manage to launch my car hundreds of meters into the air, which was pretty entertaining.

MONEYxCONTENT VALUE:
I'd recommend getting it on sale if you're into this kind of rally racing and what you see in the trailer appeals to you. There isn't much beyond what's shown there. There's also a two-player versus mode, although I haven't tested it myself.
So good... soo good
Enfim, recomendo :)
This is one of the best arcade racing games i have come across this year! I want to thank steam for recommending it to me, otherwise i would've never seen it Review: VICTORY HEAT RALLY is one of those jewels you barely see nowdays, not sure what games inspired it's creation but, so far, i would say it reminds me to outrun in the sense of speed and handling with a mix of ps2 era of games where the focus was to make good and fun game. So what VICTORY HEAT RALLY for his low price point? let's see: -CHAMPIONSHIP: a campaign mode where you play races in order on a level selection screen A-La-Super Mario bros 3. The first 3 places in a race earn you medals that accumulate in order to open side events while the normal campaign races require you to earn 3rd place or more until you enter the final level of each zone which is a grandprix that usually is a cup with 3 races and 1 rally/sprint againts a unique character/rival. This mode is needed to unlock more characters, tracks and color skins for arcade and versus mode. -ARCADE GP: "RACE THROUGH GRANDPRIX EVENTS FROM THE CHAMPIONSHIP MODE IN A SINGLEPLAYER ARCADE STYLE CHALLENGE" -in-game description. -VERSUS: here you can have single races with all the stuff you unlocked on championship mode againts bots or local players in splitscreen. You can select between single tracks or cups up to 16 consecutive races, cpu difficulty and time out settings so you dont die of old age when your buddy is so far behind, you could count the number of grains in a sand clock before he finishes one lap. (this mode was named a bit confusing to me, you would think this mode is only for online matches or splitscreen races only, this should be named arcade heat racing or something) -TIME ATTACK: self explanatory, you can change the time of the day and set if you want to play a free run or against a ghost. VISUALS: while the graphics are intentionally reminiscent of racing games from classic arcades (once again, OutRun), i would say, the art style is really cute and colourful. Every character you see really checks in the silhoute test while having a good and interesting design while the menus give you that good old feel that SEGA Racing Arcade Cabinet games had. AUDIO: To me this is what put all the game together, the music is really good, cars, menus, characters, everything feels in harmony. Once again, the reason why this game has so muuuuuch charisma and gets a SS+ in the vibes check. GAMEPLAY: each character has a car with different stats that you can tune a little, the cars while being 2d sprites, you can feel their weight, their handling and the speed. Racing feels really good but using boost drift/slide is what makes it worth it all. PERFORMANCE: It runs on the steam deck at 60fps at full screen in battery mode for 6 hours straight at full battery, this game is lightweight and needs less than 500MB on your hard disk. I drop my hat to you guys for such a feature in 2026. BUGS/GLITCHES: So far, only thing that bothers me is that some cars change design in the character screen but when you play, is the same car as other racers but with different stats, i like tommy's car the best in the tittle screen, but it really bothers me that his car is the same that clide has in game. also, sometimes changing the pixel filter on full screen can make the screen to stretch temporarly and adding very small artifacts into the loading screens in the process. There are only 3 default screen resolutions and full screen, i dont know why. GENERAL: You can change laps, day, noon and night cycles, reverse tracks, mirror tracks, be a champ and make a race with 99 laps if you want, local splitscreen up to 4 players. This game really is feature complete, only thing i wish it had is a track builder and a Turntable screen to listen the soundtrack at will. Victory Heat Rally is a reminder to what we lost when we let AAA publishers take control of the general gaming space, it is fun, simple, cheap and charismatic. I highly recommend this game, specially to any Handheld pc owner. It is not listed on steam like this, but i would mark it on the *Great on Deck/Verified* section of the steam library in my own experience. I never came across of any of the issues like small text, problems with the keyboard and mouse showing up or degraded performance.
This game is SOOOOO Good. It's fast! And the OST! OHHHHHHHH
