Great rpg
A very fun, adventurous RPG game with a major replay value. A must buy for story rich RPG games!
Another great turn-based RPG by this developer. Recommended for those who follow this type of game.

Verdungo is an enjoyable game made by a solo dev. I have about 18.5 hrs in the game, but I don't think my record time is accurate due to playing offline. I have really enjoyed the crafting system of this game. I love RPG maker games and have encountered other crafting systems previously, but I think this is the first one where I can mine and collect ingredients. For example, there are ore deposits you can mine, or you can pick veggies and berries from dirt patches and apples from trees. One of my favorite parts of these games is exploring towns and talking to the NPC's, so I was concerned when I saw all the NPC's blocking the doors in a couple of towns, but everywhere else allowed you to enter houses and explore. When exploring the various maps, you may also stumble upon hidden areas with valuable treasures, which I also loved. There are a few cons to Verdungo that are just personal preference. When you start a game and have an option to pick from various classes, you cannot see the description for them until you choose them and go in-game. I personally did not enjoy starting a game in batches of 4 just to see the class description. Another thing that I disliked was the world map. I loved how big it was, but finding all the different locations on the world map is challenging. Hopefully, the developer puts in a map in his future games so players have a better idea of where they are. All in all, so far, Verdungo has been a lot of fun to play, and overall a great game! I look forward to seeing what other games this developer makes in the future!
==EDITED REVIEW== Do you like slightly generic but fun traditional RPG games? Do you like loot, and tons of it? Do you like features that add onto the game as additional ways to gain ingame cash or items, with a simplistic crafting system, that don't have to be actually used as part of the game? Then this game is for you! This is your run of the mill RPG Maker game, with a few extra tidbits with some decent storytelling which for the price, isn't bad at all - a lot of the time the game's dialogue (item names etc) feel rushed or like the developer's first language wasn't English, and for the price - not bad. Currently, as of Feb 2021, you can buy three games from the same dev including this one, I haven't played the other two yet, but you can buy all three for £7-8! It's a bargain, honestly. With an advertised 15-20 hour gameplay (which may or may not be more for me), this game gives you more for your dollar than most AAA games, but lacks the polish that AAA games have. I don't know whether I'd recommend buying the game stand-alone for £7-8, though, but currently the bundle pricing is brilliant. **edit after beating the game 'illegitimately' (in my eyes)** The game has so much content than what I expected, I thought there was just a huge wall surrounding the world border, but I got past that and found a snow area - spoilers it's awesome. Yes, the game is well worth the £7-8, maybe more.
Loved this game. plenty to do, but fairly clear where to go next. There are 3 awesome (and optional) super bosses to beat :) Highly recommended :) I played for around 25 hours.
I did a stream of this game on Facebook at Lozza's Emporium if you're interested in seeing some gameplay {will be streaming this again sometime at the end of the year}. When you first start the game you are given the opportunity to choose your four characters/classes, and even name them. Once you choose these 4 they are stuck with you for the rest of the duration of this game! This will either make or break your game. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you take a healer of some sort {I choose the Cleric personally}, everything else you can chance. The replay-value is certainly there with trying out new characters and getting different dialogue options and even items from certain people you interact with. It's about 15+ hours to complete, it's easy to grasp, the music is great, and it's the simple gameplay which makes this a great game.
This is another great RPG from Wolf's Moon Studio. Lots of side quests and interactions. Highly recommended.
I got this one because I liked wormskull which is from the same dev, wormskull is the second work and verdungo is the third one so I was hoping to see dev's improvements, the faction new thing is nice and cool but it still need some work, the rework of mining and fishing were good too but has some flaws i had to return to early places to level up, the battle is very challenging even at late game the problem is in the early game with no mana regen items and no passive mana regen.. I was struggling to survive not because the enemies were that strong but my entire party were too weak and barely no mana, every time in town i had to stocks 75+ mana potions, could have some mana regen like every +-100 tiles regen 1 mana should be far enough in early game, the game for me has 2 big problems lack of story or motivation to go to save verdungo and the size of map with a lot of meanless rooms to explore, even important places were too big. The crafting of armor/weapon in verdungo has no point i finished the game only using drop/reward gears, in wormskull i had to craft almost every piece to min/max my party. Some improvements in comparasion with wormskul * Exilir can be purchased * Ducan is working * The possibility to return to old places * Side quests What bugged me almost was that there is no basic information about the classes before u choose them all, only after that u can see what every one does and there no way to change it the only option is creating a new game.. and i was too lazy to do it.
