Love this game. Played through the intro and spent most of my time harvesting, which is addictive and fun. Game play is great and the battles are tough but winnable. Definitely recommend!!
It's fun and it has replay value.
*Ratings 9/10 I started my journey with Wolf Moon Games through Aldorea games. I played Timely Intervention and then went to The Tale of a Common Man. Both games I would recommend highly (cheap plug). This game is a classic with a feel of the old nostalgic RPGs that I fell in love with. Breathe of Fire, Dragon Warrior, and the elements of D&D. *Game Itself I love this game and similar games because they are a challenge but nothing so extraordinary that it pulls your hair out. The grinding part is actually enjoyable, and the variety of classes makes the game feel different for each play. Love the aspect of building your own weapons, and the optional challenges at the end bring out the great challenge in the game. The ending was abrupt and to the point, but it was well worth the 35+hours I put into the game. *Advice Don't do the generic Fighter, Thief, Wizard, Cleric. I strongly suggest expanding your horizon by mixing up your party because the traditional Fighter character (Paladins) are not overwhelmingly powerful based on sword attacks. Magic and skills are crucial in this game for multiple enemies and fun. I would suggest a Ninja, Monk, Blade Master, or Dark Knight would be a bit spicier. I loved this game, and now I am about to move on to Ash of the Night. "Another shameless plug!"
Great game for classic JRPG-fans. Nice pacing, and streamlined experience. Only con is that at times the main quest can be a bit unclear. Would definitely recommend.
Great game . Great old style combat RPG . has some nice little funnies thrown in as well. Would recommend to lovers of the Older Genre RPG.
Excellent open style RPG similar to that of Last Dream. Only thing missing IMO are those cutscene style stories/events which happen throughout Last Dream when you reach certain points of the game. Which is a shame because as we've seen from Wormskull, Shane C. is fully capable of writing a good/captivating story with interesting characters. I hope you continue to make more games in the near future as you have talent at game balancing and making really cool items/weps/armour/classes and skills. (your pretty much cool at everything in RPGMaker). I wish you all the best.
This is definitely the best game yet from this developer. So far I'm really enjoying the old school rpg aspect, it's giving me flashbacks of playing final fantasy and other rpgs when I was a kid. I also really love the variety of classes that you can pick from at the beginning, and that you can form a totally new type of party every time you play right at the start. One of the things I like the most would be the "extra" stuff you can do. Yeah, you can blaze right through the game only doing what's necessary, or you can spend hours just exploring and fishing. It's really up to you how you play, and it's very impressive coming from such a simple looking game. I'd really recommend snagging the bundle of all 3 games!
Great game shane love the crafting side quest , another way is to do alot of fishing they give good mana and healing
I love games like this one. I had a lot of fun playing, and I believe you will too if you give it a chance.
I love it. This is one of my favorite games ever, I often replay it. Definitely recommend it.
