Venice 2089 is a cute exploration game of Venice in the future after the rise of the ocean because of climate change. The main character is a teenage girl named Nova with a hover board and a cute little robot drone who will help the player with quests to move further in the game. The music is atmospheric. Perfect chill cozy game experience. We both agree, we should have hover boards right now! Gameplay Video https://youtu.be/XcW3blYrdJw
i really liked it the point of view of the protagonist
Played the demo back when it hit steam, enjoyed that a bit, so I took up the game recently to play it a bit. I haven't done much past the first day, but the story is nice, the artstyle is one of the game's bigger attractions for me. I enjoy these types with unique types of art, and with the map layout being... something of a retro game's style. I dig it. by that I mean like, you can go around a corner and the world turns. you can go down alley ways. and its a bit of a collect mission type of game. simplistic and has its own fun charm if you dig those games. I usually don't cause I seek more activity from games. but hey I recommend eitherway. art is nice yes.
比较舒缓的故事,体量约六小时,部分交互有些反智,相似推荐:林中之夜。
Ottimo gioco, complimenti a tutto il team
While the game has it's fair share of minor bugs i did have fun playing it. It's a pretty relaxing game with a nice soundtrack and a good artstyle. The hoverboard was insanely fun to use once i got the hang of it.
Fun game, unique art style and relaxing music. Also simple gameplay too, perfect for everyone.
Venice 2089 has a strong foundation that I think the devs should be really proud of. The art is unique and well done, and the world and the idea behind its mechanic is interesting. I don't recommend Venice 2089 despite these strong foundations because it doesn't feel like it was developed all the way into a game. Almost every aspect, from quests to animations to dialogue, feel like they're left unfinished. This feels like a rough draft of a game. I've played (and loved) games that were rough around the edges, but the ways in which Venice feels unfinished impede it enough for it to become unenjoyable. I think that the devs should be very proud of the idea they've had and what they've made here, and simultaneously I think if this game had a final 20% development and polish that it's currently lacking it'd be a much more enjoyable game. I don't want to put down what Venice 2089 is - it's more of a video game than I've ever made, for one - but I do want to highlight what it isn't as the reason for not recommending it. It isn't in a state that feels like a finished game. If you're really enamored by the concept and want to support the dev team, I'd pick it up, but otherwise I don't recommend buying this game as it is now.
It's a game about one of the most beautiful cities in the world. A little but cozy 1 time experience. Buy it knowing it's a slow pace and simple game that is more like a kid's interactive book about venice. There are some visual glitches and weird controls. And the corrupted save thing is a red flag for Safe Place Studios. I'm hoping they fix it pretty soon with the last programmer they have.
