Reviews
Mmmmm it's ok... although I was giving it actually a negative review. Basically, a FPS ''maze'' (name didn't lie) but in a vaporwave fashion.... which is difficult to enjoy due to how badly the screen is filled with stuff (I know that is the intention of the dev., but really couldn't enjoy). Plus, game mechanics are nothing uncommon and combine with the graphic engine makes the experience rather dull and confusing. Still, if you like this particular.... vibe?, this may still be for you.
Wait for a discount, buy for trippy-ness and not for good FPS experience.
Jogo top, jogabilidade excelente !!!!
idk
The game certainly has an interesting aesthetic but that hardly covers for the many flaws. There is absolutely no tutorial or explanation in game whatsoever. You can't play it like a typical roguelike or shooter because you honestly don't get enough ammunition or opportunity to just play the game. There is much more resource management in this than any other roguelike or shooter I've ever played. Some people may have fun with this but i certainly didn't. There are way too many props just lying on the ground and can sometimes make the room feel insanely cluttered. The pickups had bad interactions, i.e. i would walk straight through them and it wouldn't register as being picked up. I never felt like i had enough health, ammo or bombs. The game feels overly complicated in its management and weapon systems, and too simple with physics, map layout, and perks.
I love how it looks, i despise how it plays. The controls are super floaty, i have to unlearn all my instincts on how platformers operate to make the simplest jump, I feel like the moment i press jump, im just praying to god to take the wheel, because my control of the situation is gone. I often find myself not seeing the enemies that try to kill me with all the stuff that lies everywhere, the maps are way too simple, mostly just a straight shot from start to the exit room, with few dead ends you have no way to predict before you find them. It's a shame because the game looks and sounds amazing, the guns are good enough to shoot and you can feel the effort the author put in, but in the end it plays like garbage and i can't find the motivation to rewire my brain around the terrible physics.
Had the opportunity to test this game years ago. This game has alot of potential and it always reminded me of a retro ULTRAKILL. I loved it. Definitely everybody needs to give this game a try.
