Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 27 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome to the Canis Major dwarf galaxy! We hope that your trip through the Great Gate was a safe one; many of the fortune-seekers that embark on this dangerous journey never make it this far. After all, an unauthorized jump of 25,000 light years through a heavily guarded artificial wormhole is bound to cause some issues – both technical and legal. Thankfully, now that you’re here, it’s time to get straight to business.
Choose your own playstyle
Combat: Fight enemies using a wide range of weaponry.
Mining: Scrape asteroid surfaces or blow them to bits to harvest their core.
Salvage: Discover and salvage derelict ships and wreckage.
Trading: Find the best trade routes. Buy low, sell high.
Play the game full screen or place it on the bottom of your desktop
You can let the autopilot play idle or take a more hands on approach.
Find and collect loot
You'll find powerful gear and rare items that allow you to push further into the sectors.
Buy and upgrade new ships
Choose from a wide variety of ships, ranging from small miners to large destroyers.
Dynamic NPC captains
From rival pirates and traders to helpful miners. Interact, ally, fight or avoid them.
Refine raw ore/salvage and craft your gear
Raw resources can be refined into materials. Use these materials to craft powerful gear to boost your ships and level up your game. Or sell them for a handy profit.
Level up your captain and hire crew
Pick from multiple skill trees and unlock powerful abilities or focus on becoming an industrial powerhouse. Crew with different professions provide passive perks and unique bonuses that enhance your skill trees.
Explore a vast, procedurally generated galaxy
Travel using the gate-network.
Story & dynamic missions
A wide range of different missions that will require you to diversify your ships.
Play Vanguard Galaxy full screen on a second monitor or place it at the bottom of your screen. It stays out of your way when you need to focus on something else (work, play another game, or watch a video). Engage the Autopilot and your ship’s ECHO system will complete most basic tasks on its own, with minimal input required from you.

You are let loose in a procedurally generated world where corporate interests clash with the galaxy’s established population. Pledge allegiance to one of the corporations, or stay neutral and forge your own path. The world reacts to your actions and builds its own storyline as you explore new systems and make a name for yourself.
Level up your captain and crew, and equip all of your space ships with top-of-the-line components. The deepest reaches of the galaxy may be savage and unpredictable, but with sufficient preparation you’ll be ready for any challenge it can throw at you.

mining and scraping is ok but combat is bad, the ships is retardedly slow maneuvering and engaging enemies and the weapon ranges are super short. Missiles have super long ranges but they cost a lot. So far im level 25 and got a mid tier mining ship that cant complete yet any easy patrol, only combat missions with max 2-3 enemies. Patrols are several ships in a row with no chance to repair or reload, if you leave the area because you are getting killed it resets and i cant kill 5 gunships in a row Some weapons are a scam compared to other types in terms of DPS, which is not shown anywhere, you have to test the weapon to know how it fires and how effective it is. The weapons stats show the rate of fire but not the DPS. The ammo cost and space used by the ammunition is too much. Idle progression is very slow, getting money ridiculously slow. Prices of ships are retarded and also the big ships need a extremely high reputation, and seeing the progression it could take weeks to max the reputation for one faction alone, or months if you want to max all of them. Material tab not shared between stations, only the equipment tab is shared. Refined materials are shared, but unrefined are confined to the station you drop them in, which is bad. Refining materials also ridiculously slow if you dont dump tons of points into industry skill tree. Auto pilot has also super reduced xp and reputation rates compared to doing the mission manually, i belive its like 10 or 15% of the regular values only. Idling progression is super slow in terms of xp and money. Also the loadouts with one weapon and 2 mining tools are considered automatically as a combat loadout for the auto pilot, wich is stupid. You carry one weapon to defend from some turrets and drones in some of the mining missions thas have automated defenses, why would i do combat missions with 1 weapon alone? Not bad but also not good in some aspects, needs a lot of work in the speed of the game progression and money making aspects, and the auto pilot needs a serious boost. Leaving the game doing missions auto for 8 or 10 hours and get 200-300k is super bad

decent game good game play
It is a nice little game. Basically a eve online 2d. It does seem to have a basic storyline. While this can be played as an Idle game i played it active for a day.
This game has great potential and I hope the developers keep going with what they have achieved so far.
The promotional materials basically describe what to expect from Vanguard Galaxy: a spaceship game you can play actively or as an idler. Try out the demo for yourself to see if it clicks for you or not. That said, here's how the actual gameplay goes: Start off with a tiny skiff, make some money, get some levels, fill up your perk tree, get better gear, make friends with factions, buy a bigger ship from those factions, and repeat until you've got all the biggest numbers you can get on your personal collection of cruisers. Quick note though that the idling section of the game is handled by a fully-fledged AI that automates a chain of tasks for you--even combat! This automation is most important for crafting, which is the best source of high-level gear you can get and is a pretty decent money-maker when paired with a certain perk in the Economics skill tree. You will need a lot of time mining/scavenging raw resources, however, and then even more time refining those raw resources into processed materials before crafting the finished equipment. The best part is the low price tag, which makes Vanguard Galaxy a must-buy if you liked what you saw in the demo
amazing
there are tons of bugs but it to be expected the game isint finished but whats there so far is unbelievably fun if you enjoy flying around in space fighting mining salvaging boarding this is the game for you the devs are also really great at responding when you run into game breaking bugs
Looking forward to this one!
Still in active development, but surprising I haven't run into any bugs yet. Very enjoyable space adventure with well paced upgrades and new ships to discover and purchase. The variety of materials to find and the crafting system are solid. New features should be coming soon to further expand options post -fights. If you enjoy space exploration and customizing ships to certain roles, give it a shot!
