Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 27 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Welcome to the Canis Major dwarf galaxy! We hope that your trip through the Great Gate was a safe one; many of the fortune-seekers that embark on this dangerous journey never make it this far. After all, an unauthorized jump of 25,000 light years through a heavily guarded artificial wormhole is bound to cause some issues – both technical and legal. Thankfully, now that you’re here, it’s time to get straight to business.
Choose your own playstyle
Combat: Fight enemies using a wide range of weaponry.
Mining: Scrape asteroid surfaces or blow them to bits to harvest their core.
Salvage: Discover and salvage derelict ships and wreckage.
Trading: Find the best trade routes. Buy low, sell high.

Explore a vast, procedurally generated galaxy
Travel using the gate-network.
Story & dynamic missions
A wide range of different missions that will require you to diversify your ships.
Play Vanguard Galaxy full screen on a second monitor or place it at the bottom of your screen. It stays out of your way when you need to focus on something else (work, play another game, or watch a video). Engage the Autopilot and your ship’s ECHO system will complete most basic tasks on its own, with minimal input required from you.

You are let loose in a procedurally generated world where corporate interests clash with the galaxy’s established population. Pledge allegiance to one of the corporations, or stay neutral and forge your own path. The world reacts to your actions and builds its own storyline as you explore new systems and make a name for yourself.
Level up your captain and crew, and equip all of your space ships with top-of-the-line components. The deepest reaches of the galaxy may be savage and unpredictable, but with sufficient preparation you’ll be ready for any challenge it can throw at you.

If you're into long form incremental games like I am, then this is great one. It's joined my group of ever-runners that I won't close on my machine. I found this game to be more than worth the value for sure!
Damn. The best game of this kind that I played (x4 is a different animal). Thanks for the great game devs!
Very thoroughly made battle system, a lot of weapons and money making methods to choose from. I enjoy that game very much, it's in nice playable condition. For more, it only gets better with occasional updates. The developer is on fire! Please never leave gaming industry and make more people happy.

Alrighty, I bought the game yesterday and I like it a lot. It runs great obviously due to the small size and "low" graphics, but it still looks great! Gameplay is engaging and story is fun so far. However there two things I would love to see change: 1. Inventory: I'm a packrat and a loot goblin! Any form of inventory limitation is a downside for me. I don't care about realism, this is a game and I want to have fun first and foremost! So I would love see some kind of configuration when you start a new game where you can set some settings how the game runs and for inventory you could maybe give a slider to increase inventory by a multiplier or decrease weight of items. I would even support a simple checkmark to give unlimited inventory. 2. Crafting: And I mean modules, weapons and tools. I cannot stand the RNG involved to make the advanced ones (green and up)! I would love to see a system, where I can pick the bonuses of the module, weapon, etc. that supports my ship, way of playing the game! You could still randomize the value of the bonus after that. Example: I have a frigate right now and trying to get a drone module with the "Oversized" bonus so I can have 6 drones instead of only 4! I managed to get one with the bonus that gives 1 extra slot (not sure what it's called). I'm able to make the High Grade version so I'd also like to pick which extra bonuses (2) the module has so I can add drone power and salvaging power. Now I don't know if you're planning to add mod support to the game, in which case both of these problems could be solved by modders in the future. But yea mod support would probably be my other hope for this game!
cool game :D
fun
Great game!
gud
Best idle game. Excited to see where it goes from here, on the current beta build the seeds of what the endgame can become are apparent, and it looks very promising.
As an older gamer that lacks the patience to pick up a new shooter, or carry the lightning fast muscle movements of my younger years, I have been constantly looking for a space game that has: Mining, Trading, Loot and is casual enough that I will actually enjoy it. My favorite things about this game so far are mining, farming resources, using forges to produce to gear or items for upgrades / quests. Slowly, and I do mean very slowly, the game starts to open up. You start taking the occasional bounty mission, maybe you board a space station. You discover there are captains, with their own spells, that can level up independently. Youll learn that certain gear can have aspects, that can be removed and added to other gear, crafted and found. Youll find new ships, new workshops and thats when you realize this is not an idle game. This is game does require you to make decisions, weather that be exploring a new zone, purchasing a gate key to access another path, focusing on a specific perk path or quest lineage. The idle portion of the game is nice for when you just want to let it run and farm you some resources. Hook up your best mining gear, empty the hold, set your home station, and then just let it farm away. Come back later and decide what to do with the loot. Do you sell it immediately? Upgrade your own gear? Did you get any cool aspects? What about your recipes? Have the loot necessary to craft? I think for 9$, if you can overlook the ship graphics (I grew up with a mac classic) then this is surprisingly deep.
