About
You are the Nomad — an elder vampire awakening from a century-long slumber, new to the modern nights. Trapped in your Blood is a stranger’s voice. This entity, a vampire detective known as Fabien, will be your guide to 21st-century Seattle. You will explore the city through his eyes as well as those of the Nomad, as you revisit a cold case from a hundred years ago that is threatening undead and mortal society alike.
Hunt your way through a modern-night Seattle on the brink of an open supernatural war in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, where visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery. Navigate the vampire Court of Seattle and its dark underbelly in this action RPG, realized by the BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room.

Blood sustains you and empowers your vampiric Disciplines. You’ll stalk and feed on the city’s population at night. Use your supernatural powers or raw persuasion on unsuspecting mortals to lure them into dark alleys and slake your Hunger. However, be cautious about breaking the Masquerade: revealing your true nature risks reprisals, starting with law enforcement and escalating from there. Remember, you are not the only creature that goes bump in the night.
Experience immersive, visceral combat that rewards various playstyles and approaches based on your choice of vampire clan. Will you engage in close combat with supernatural strength, attack from a distance with blood sorcery, or silently thin the herd like the apex predator you are? Your clan choice will support these playstyles and more.

Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society or rail against it. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions, not to mention the mortals at stake in the clash of powers beyond their knowing. In this sequel to the cult classic, your choices, plots, and schemes will determine the balance of power and what becomes of the city and its people.

Entediante e decepcionante...
I never played the original Bloodlines. I've heard only great things about the original and I knew going into this one that there was a lot of disappointment with 2 from the fans who enjoyed 1. Still, I liked the premise and thought I'd like to try it myself. It was on sale as well so it made the purchase easier. If it's bad, whatever, but if it's good, then great! Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this game. I have 11 hours in this game but half of that time was spent trying to troubleshoot the constant stuttering. Trust me when I say I tried so, so many minute changes but nothing seemed to remove them. After some time, I just didn't want to bother with it anymore, so I decided to just let it be since it wasn't necessarily detrimental to playing and tried to continue my playthrough. Phyre's story is really interesting. I really do want to know more about how she ended up in torpor and the story behind all that. The characters are cool and I am curious to see where it goes. However, the world feels lifeless. I'm usually one to go through every line of dialogue, run to every corner of the map for secrets, etc but there's just nothing to see outside of the main faction hubs and the different people you can drain for resources. Even with the factions, there could be so much more depth. All of that mixed with the stuttering just made navigating the game largely unenjoyable. I also encountered a few bugs that required me to restart from my last checkpoint and redo entire levels. I probably did the
Benny fight 4 times before it let me remove the stake from his chest
to continue the quest. The prompt continued to bug out after I would select it. Super frustrating. Eventually I did get past it but that did not leave a good impression. I don't know. Maybe this game just isn't for me. I thought maybe it would be different since I wasn't going into it with high expectations but... for a game, it feels very empty and the story alone could not keep me interested enough to endure the constant stuttering every few seconds I moved. Since its mostly a combat game, this has been super difficult for me to get past. I may come back one day and try to finish the story out of curiosity, but I cannot justify spending my time on a potentially interesting story with its current performance and bugs.
It's a vampire game, but not at all a successor to the OG. Good effort from TCR but this is not a rpg and it pains me. I honestly couldn't even finish this.
I'll start by saying that I haven't played Bloodlines 1. I generally enjoy the World of Darkness lore casually - meaning I haven't gotten really seriously into it, but I very much enjoyed the visual novels I've played. I was on the fence for a long time about trying out Bloodlines 2, mainly because of the mixed reviews, but I'm very happy I finally decided to get it. I absolutely loved it. Once I started it, I couldn't put it down. In my opinion its an amazing immersive vampire game, with really cool lore. There isn't much diversity on skills since you can unlock the same ones on every build, you just start off with a different set. But that doesn't really bother me because they're all fun to play, and there are a lot of them. You can choose on which ones you want to focus your build on. At the start I wished there was an option to customize the face of your character (not just hairstyle, accessories and clothes) but as I played more I realized I preferred being locked into a certain look to a degree since you are playing an already established character in the world. It makes it more grounding if you replay the game. In the end it left me hungry for more of the Nomad and I hope they do more with them in the future.
it a good game
gayet güzel bir aksiyon macera oyunuydu
Despite what I had heard about the game, I was surprised by how much I ended up liking it. The gameplay feels good, and the story is written very competently and in the spirit of older games. Of course, there are limitations when it comes to choosing a vampire clan, the lack of a proper character appearance editor, and the strange logic behind clothing choices, which you basically only see in cutscenes. But in my opinion, the game presents all these limitations in a very interesting way, framing them through the unusual nature of the main character within the in-game lore. It is one of the few games that made me genuinely interested in reading every note I found, and it actually managed to make me empathize with each of the characters. Of course, it is not without technical bugs, such as enemies spawning inside walls, but there is nothing that dedicated fans could not fix with mods. In the end, the expectation of a genuinely bad game probably worked in its favor, allowing it to surprise me and deliver a great experience. I hope there will be story DLCs with new locations. 8/10
