About
You are the Nomad — an elder vampire awakening from a century-long slumber, new to the modern nights. Trapped in your Blood is a stranger’s voice. This entity, a vampire detective known as Fabien, will be your guide to 21st-century Seattle. You will explore the city through his eyes as well as those of the Nomad, as you revisit a cold case from a hundred years ago that is threatening undead and mortal society alike.
Hunt your way through a modern-night Seattle on the brink of an open supernatural war in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, where visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery. Navigate the vampire Court of Seattle and its dark underbelly in this action RPG, realized by the BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room.

Blood sustains you and empowers your vampiric Disciplines. You’ll stalk and feed on the city’s population at night. Use your supernatural powers or raw persuasion on unsuspecting mortals to lure them into dark alleys and slake your Hunger. However, be cautious about breaking the Masquerade: revealing your true nature risks reprisals, starting with law enforcement and escalating from there. Remember, you are not the only creature that goes bump in the night.
Experience immersive, visceral combat that rewards various playstyles and approaches based on your choice of vampire clan. Will you engage in close combat with supernatural strength, attack from a distance with blood sorcery, or silently thin the herd like the apex predator you are? Your clan choice will support these playstyles and more.

Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society or rail against it. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions, not to mention the mortals at stake in the clash of powers beyond their knowing. In this sequel to the cult classic, your choices, plots, and schemes will determine the balance of power and what becomes of the city and its people.

Clunky combat, underwhelming graphics (even at max settings), and barebones RPG elements. Feels like a "Dishonored" knock-off with a minimal amount of effort. Also, for some reason, it feels as if there is always a small amount of motion blur and mouse acceleration enabled, which you can never fully get rid of.
It was an alright game for me. But both the story and gameplay was a bit too tedious and stretched out. The moment I realized what the side quests are going to be like, I tried to do as few as possible to get the outfits (which I had to look up on the internet, because there's no preview) and powers I wanted. I guess the developers did all they could to justify the crazy initial price tag. I bought the main game at half price, which I consider the adequate price. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend the game. The story was a bit convoluted at times, and at times it made sense for it to be that way, I think... Some of the revelations felt good, and surprising in a good way, the foreshadowing fair. What I was annoyed about, was Nomad and Fabien being a few steps behind my deductions at times. In an RPG, I'd expect a bit more freedom in some of the conversations. A few time I was a angry at my character for not being able to say, what I'd say or saying something in a completely different tone than I'd assume they would. Then there were cutscenes that didn't fit with my Nomad's previous aggresive approach towards Safia's lovebombing. It never felt to me, like Nomad likes her, so I was looking at my screen all confused at one point. For about 95% of the case, I had the right idea about what kind of creature was the (original) Rebar Killer and the amount of red herrings never really dissuaded me. The red herrings themselves were a bit annoying at times. Sometimes too small and random for me to be fooled (though I'm glad the character's roles were, what they were in the end - if I were to be surprised, I wouldn't want it to be a cheap surprise). But sometimes it felt like I was doing a bit too stretched out side quest... The character I hated with a passion was Willem, and him being in the trailer was the main reason I've waited for a discount. Maybe it was on purpose to dissuade me from buying at full price and waiting for the adequate price tag, in that case... thanks... Willem is cringe. The writing is awful compared to the rest of the cast. He keeps talking to himself in cliché phrases he says only for the player and nobody else. And the whole level itself didn't really feel right to me. It's an interesting idea, but feels a bit out of place to me, and the final stage was a slog... and a weird kind of puzzle with the gramophones... And that's another gripe I had with the game. Some of the puzzles felt weird to me, nonsensical. You have an action game the goes "boom" and "pow", and then suddenly it comes to a halt, and you're looking for some cut-off fingers, or some such, in a bit too imaginative way. Fabien gives you a hint like "you should find the fingers". Yeah thanks, Fabien, like I wouldn!t know, wish I could slap you... In the end, you have to use what you've learned in a random kinda way, that you've never learned. Not a good show of game design imho. I was annoyed and I looked it up tbh, and it made me go "what? seriously?"... it didn't make sense to me, but maybe it was just me. The whole flow of the game was a bit weird at times. I didn't much care for the placement of some of the flashbacks, or maybe just their length. Some other times though, I liked them a lot, and the cuts between them in particular. The whole story was quite enjoyable the way I approached it. I understood that in this setting politics are more powerful than being an almighty killing machine, so it made sense to me, that for most of the game, you'd just have to think "just you wait Lou/Ryong/whatever". The story was a bit bloated and
The game is more enjoyable if you do not compare it to the original Bloodlines. They story is very nice, the characters well written. Feels like a propper WOD experience.
Its kinda fun, seems based in the 5th edition or some inspired by OG edition but it will hit the spot for VTM player Hard Core Original players
I'm not gonna lie, after being a huge fan of Bloodlines 1, Bloodlines 2 is just not the game for you. Admittedly, I did not get far, but even in the first two ish hours, I can't recommend it. Just play the original Bloodlines.
The mixed review as of 6/24/2026 is very accurate to how I feel about this. It is somehow a sequel to Bloodlines 1 but has very little of the personality. Its like the first one but they gave it better combat and traversing mechanics but took out all the fun in between. I did enjoy it 60% of the time when I was playing the Elder vampire not when doing the detective parts... You play as an elder Vampire with A LOT of fun abilities which are stronger than everyone else in the game but you have to relearn them as you were in a long sleep. The combat is SUPER fun, it has the makings of getting boring within a couple engagements but somehow REMAINS entertaining all throughout. You can pick up melee weapons and guns, you can use telekinesis to throw things, you can fight with your hands. Abilities are great, whether they're combat or mind related. Executions and feeding animations are limited but VERY entertaining and satisfying. WHEN IT COMES TIME TO PLAY AS THE DETECTIVE ITS SO BORING. You just walk around and talk to people... horrible dialogue btw. The setting is based on a board game, Vampire the Masquerade, but it was nothing like its prior game which was significantly more interesting. Sure the previous game took place in LA where its a little more... crazy, but to live within the Vampire community in Seattle it should also be as fun. The characters were good but not as unique or interesting as the first game's. Its a detective story where you're trying to solve a couple mysteries but... I wasn't really interested until near the end. I had to PUSH myself to continue, which never happened with the first. THE DETECTIVES VOICE WAS ANNOYING FOR ME, and he's got the most lines out of anyone I think. TLDR: Meh game, meh story, GREAT graphics. First person style beat em up with great abilities and decent variety of combat. Executions are satisfying and stealth is possible. The vibe of the setting is good but boring. Work as the Seattle Vampire community's sheriff and attempt to hold the masquerade.
Nope, nope nope nope nope nope nope nope.... Not bloodline, just some random cooridor action game with a vampire theme that happens to have the same name as the old classic.
Sentimientos encontrados.
Vale a pena numa promoção.
