Reviews
I'm revising my review having now invested a whole lot of time in this game. I'll start with the good... Graphics are very good, the environment looks intriguing and the story appears interesting enough. Now the bad... - There are a ton of visual bugs where the main character can walk through walls and enter/exit rooms in weird way - Some objects that you can take will reappear in their original locations which is odd to say the least - Some objects that need to be taken in order to progress through the game are literally not interactable so said item can't be taken and progress in the game grinds to a halt. In my case, I didn't even know the item in question was supposed to taken if not for the sharing of this info by other gamers here on Steam - The logic behind many of the puzzles often lacks any sense and therefore fails to fairly challenge players. Instead, it turns into repeated attempts at trying the nonsensical until you get lucky. This can take a VERY VERY long time. - The built-in hint system fails to really help and made me even more frustrated than I already was. Due to my stubbornness and desire to finish this game, I'm determined to push ahead although I just ran into a bug (which I reported in the discussion section) that now seems to have stopped me cold in hopes that the developer will issue a fix. This really is an example of putting out a product that is it's own worst enemy and should be an example of what NOT to do in game development. It's especially sad since the graphics and premise had potential. Avoid unless you're into self-inflicted punishment... Update 5-30-26 Be warned that if you decide to buy this game and want a refund (which I imagine you will), do not play it too much as Steam won't provide a refund. I spent a lot of time on this train-wreck of a game and ultimately cannot finish it. I asked Steam for a refund after the developer stopped responding or providing any kind of assistance and was told I played the game too long and that violated their criteria for a refund. Here's an idea, how bout Steam vetting the games on its platform before end users get suckered by a god-awful product and then getting victimized for playing/attempting to contribute to a solution. Remember folks, no good deed goes unpunished...
Awesome Game! Fun puzzles and great story...
Broken, buggy impossible to solve game. It has plenty of potential, but as far as I can tell nobody has been able to complete this buggy mess of a game. There are no walkthroughs available, and some of the puzzles require such specific combinations that make no sense at all: such as combining a hair dryer and a toothbrush, then using that tool combo in a specific room - while first right clicking on the vodka in your inventory to get drunk, before using the hairdryer/toothbrush combo to enlarge a hole in a masonry wall in order to get through. This isn't a game but a frustration generator.
Pros - Nice artstlye - Interesting world and characters - I liked the design of the house, exploring and opening up new areas - Engaging puzzle design up until a point. - Built in help system (it seems quite poor but credit that they at least tried to offer something) Cons - Lots of visual giltches and bugs like walking behind scene elements or ghost hotspots reappearing and dialog replaying, basically lots of continunity issues etc. I was enjoying the game enough to overlook the lack of polish but unfortunately I feel my game is now soft locked and I am unable to complete the game. Looking at other reviews and other posts it might be the game allowed me to throw away items that were still needed (this game has a weird manual inventory cleanup system where you throw items down a well, don't know why the items can't be removed automatically like other point and clicks.) Or it might just be some puzzle bugged out or reset. I can't say for sure since there is no guide or walkthrough available but as a veteran point and click player I just have a very strong feeling that I am blocked and unable to progress. Hopefully the game will receive some patches. Until then its a no for me.
il gioco presenta diversi bug che il programmatore mi ha detto che li risolverà ma il gioco può essere portato a termine uguamente;trarma interessante ed enigmi di ottimo livello
