TLDR: No. Story: Abysmal. There is none. Combat: Abysmal. The most effective tactic is standing in place and holding down the attack button. It's the same mechanic as crafting, often with the same tool. Crafting: Abysmal. It takes hours and hours of grinding to even start. Progression: There is, at least, a talent tree. It is minimal and gated by how many times you've clicked. The clicks don't seem to have a consistent tracking and slow down drastically before you are even fill out tier one of three. Survival: Food is manageable and you don't need to sleep. World: Unrealistic, underwritten fantasy but remains nonsense. No immersion here. Your little map will have a snowscape within two minutes of a desert. This is a game for people who want to get addicted to a game but, don't want to think too hard while they are playing it. It merely checks boxes on features without ever making them interesting or challenging. You might be tempted to keep grinding for hours before you can even afford a shovel or woodaxe. Don't. The gameplay is that. You grind, you sell. The 'quests' are just procgen. You go to a cave to clear it out, then get a quest to go to the same cave to walk over an item and back to the npc. Sometimes they want random, unconnected stacks of different items, like a shopping list. It's mmo quests but worse.
It's not a bad little game, fun to play at work. Would be nice if the Steam Cloud Save function was available.
Good solid foundation!
Good game overall. Still have lots of room for improvement but I'm having fun with it.
Loving this little gem so far, not sure what about it I’m specifically enjoying so much, but it’s good fun
Totally love it! you can also sleep at the barracks, it would be nice to have fishing and husbandry, taking care of chickens for eggs and feather aswell as sheeps for wool, cows for milk, and adding a camping tent while your in the wild, these would be nice for a wonderful update... keep up the great works dev.
