this game is great
Mandrake Mauled, Sarcophagus Shattered, Orobas Obliterated, Verrithe Voided, Vignes Vanquished, Beetle Bested, Siren Slain, Vontarius Victory, and Tezkatoripoka Trounced. Jeez, why can’t these guys give me a break for once?

Played the Beta, alot of love and work put into this by the Dev. Even better and whackier jokes than in the Prolouge. What are you waiting for? just buy it already
Fun bullet patterns and great dialogue for those that don't want the former
This game is absolutely amazing, the humor and story are amazing. The combat is great, and I'm glad there's a granular difficulty system with the assist mode, plus the difficulty settings overhauling all the fights. This is one of the few pieces of media that actually consistently makes me laugh audibly, and the azmeister has me swooning. It's sad that there are so few players, so if anyone's reading this review tell your friends about the game alright? thx
If i had to make a list of underrated gems id recommend, this game would certainly be near the top. what a fun little game. A really good intro to bullet hells that isnt made by Toby Fox. Honestly the humor alone sells the game for me, and its a short little romp thats well worth the $8 asking price. Fully recommended to any fans of bullet hells.
good :)
I've been waiting for this game to come out ever since I fell in love with the demo a few years back, and it does not disappoint. The humor I'd say is very reminiscent of games like Undertale/Deltarune and West of Loathing, but it is still very much its own thing, and the combat is like an advanced version of Deltarune's dodging system, which is the closest comparison I have, given my limited experience in the bullet hell genre, but I was able to pick it up pretty easily despite that. I found that it has just the right number of abilities so that I always end up using all of them in any boss fight while also always having some tactic I could be using in almost any situation beyond just shooting. Vacant Kingdom is a well-crafted bullet hell with great comedy and it's a shame it hasn't gained the following it deserves by now. If you're still on the fence about it, just play the demo and you won't be.
I want this game to be seen more for how fun the game is overall. I've been following this game since its demo and just finished it now. For waiting a while I would say that its worth the wait. The game play aspect is really good with its different weapons and slow time mechanic which is really useful and feels good to use when dodging a complicated attack. A lot of bosses for a game and they were all fun, each with a unique way of dealing and dodging. Only 1 I did not enjoy but he was optional boss. The regular enemy variety are a bit frustrating at times but they do not come out as often. The puzzles are well made and really fun to do. At first they may seem impossible but later you will be able to solve them. But still they are fun to solve and only some are necessary. The game rewards you for doing extra things such as exploring, fighting optional bosses & puzzles, doing side quests and simply talking to NPCs. And they are very charming to talk to and everyone is unique to one another. It has the charm of undertale while having its own originality. The only negative is that the game is short. The only thing that takes long is fighting the bosses or doing all the optional things. Never the less, if you want to buy a bullet hell game, I think its for everyone both new and old to the genre.
