Most underrated game
After playing, the early builds of this game, I'm a bit disappointed by the final product. Not in the fights, I'm just bad at bullet hells. However it feels like so little was done, some more bosses sure, but the story feels incomplete, and there's a bunch of potential everywhere to fill the world, but nothing actually able to fill the world more. I get that it was made by maybe 2 people, but I'm shocked that such a small team did so much. Really my biggest complaint is that they kept the original achievements for the game, that were funny and talked about how rewards like achievements took away from the enjoyment of a game, while also adding... achievements that were extrinsic and took away from my enjoyment of the game, because I do not feel like playing again to finish it in any other mode, or finding the illuminati boss that has been TAUNTING ME WITH IT'S EXISTANCE IN THE GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE ON THIS GAME'S PAGE, THAT I NEVER EVEN KNEW EXISTED AND HAVE BASICALLY NO WAY OF DOING SO, I just don't feel it. Sorry I guess, if you enjoy dodging bullets in a world where there are no real characters, here's your game.

Very solid, fun game. Gameplay is a mix between bullet-hell fights and puzzle solving, with witty dialogue mixed in. It's rather short - I finished it in around 3-4 hours - but that is completely acceptable for the low pricetag. If I had to criticise anything then that there isn't more of it. To the developer: Good job! No matter if sequel, paid DLC or a different IP entirely:
More please!
I absolutely suck at bullet hell games, but this is so good I don't even care when I die 100 times before I beat a boss. great atmosphere, engaging puzzles between the action, and very fun, although I'm not the biggest fan of some of the more random bullet patterns.
Dudes (and dudettes?) this game is awesome! Bullet hell bliss disguised as a cute tongue in cheek rpg! I can't believe a solo (except for some music) developer made this. Shru really deserves more recognition. Vacant Kingdom is absolutely superb, even for newbies to bullet hell (aka me).
Cute game good puzzles and loveable characters
I LOFE THIEIS SGAME!!!!
this game is great
Fun bullet patterns and great dialogue for those that don't want the former
probably the 4th or 5th best game i have played on Steam imo iirc
