Unwording is a very cute puzzle game with a strong underlying theme about cognitive dissonance and negative thought and I think it sends that message really well. The idea is very simple solving some puzzle by scrambling words and move on with the daily life of your character, the game start with a very washed out and minimaistic artstyle in a very flat world, represting of your character mental state that will slowly fill with more depth and color the more your character gets out of his negative rut. I really like how it shows how very simple messages can be distorted by depression how the self loathing makes you spin in an infinite loop of negativity where you don't feel energized to do anything outside of barely existing. At the end of the game is by trying to break that negativity cycle and try to look at things more positively, finding the courage of taking action and risks to better yourself and break that monotony that you can move on and see the world brighter again. The game also comes with very helpful resources to spread awareness about the issue. It's a simple and short game at very cheap that does what it sets out do to incredibly well!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Great game, short and sweet, I haven't actually played this game for 6 hours, was about an hour. But took me a long while between opening and starting :P The game does some lovely things with language and thinking. I recommend the game anyone not actively one the edge of a crisis unless you think you can get past the first 20 minutes of 'bad day' game things. Edit: Looking back on this game for the current sale/awards event, I still think this was a great game with a cool message. If you struggle with negative thoughts, it's worth checking out and seeing the message, especially when on sale <3
