Untold Memories: Potter's Field

[[[[ NO SPOILERS ]]]] Video Gameplay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pd7NqGZuAQI So Untold of Memories: Potter's Field isn't a perfect game by any means, it is flawed, but the 2 man team is trying a new angle and I can respect that. The Good: The graphics are very impressive, the atmosphere and music are spot on. On sale it's less than $3. Oh, and I had no issues with optimization, perhaps that's been fixed? The Bad: Easily the worst part of this game are the mechanics....everything from opening a door, to picking up items is a chore due to a complete lack of a mid screen dot and the small window of detection when targeting an item. The game is also far too long, it needs to be at least 50% shorter. It unfortunately has an invisible stamina limit where you start having an asthma attack when you run for 30 secs. The inventory system is awkward and frustrating serving no real purpose. The Ugly: I, and many others, tried to warn the developers of the issues this game has after playing the demo, unfortunately our warnings went ignored. To tell the truth, I was scrolling thru my wishlist when the Summer Sale hit Steam and the reviews had me curious....was this game I recalled enjoying as a Demo really THAT BAD according to some reviews? Thankfully the answer is no, but many do have valid points. Overall there's enough good here to enjoy yourself and not feel like you were ripped off when paying $2.39, BUT if the follow up does not address the terrible controls I can say for certainty that I will not be buying it. Please, listen to your customers and rework the controls/inventory/stamina loss. The point of a horror game is to SCARE people, all these side issues merely distract from the scares. I wasnt you both to succeed so please don't be offended and take this as constructive critisism from someone who cares. Thank you for your game, best of luck!
