Until Last Breath is an Unreal asset flip, that's to say it's like a Unity asset flip, but made with Unreal store assets instead of Unity store assets. I guess Epic Games didn't want to be left out of the crapfest that is asset flips on Steam. This is a bunch of Unreal engine assets and a basic first person wave/survival shooter template/demo/tutorial, shoved in a crapware blender and dumped on Steam as a nasty cash grab. It's not a serious game, there's no real depth or gameplay, just shooting waves of the same asset flipped zombie asset. This is typical asset flip garbage and should be avoided.
Until Last Breath is a one-man project, one I thought I was not going to like. I was worried this was going to be a complete asset flip, which thankfully it's not completely an asset flip. There are Unreal Engine assets used, there is some effort put into this, but I was still worried. I got the game from a bundle so thankfully I didn't spend too much money just in case. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2570071999 The screenshots and video is slightly outdated. Some things have changed. The enemy is not a zombie soldier but just a normal-looking zombie, but there is only one enemy that scales in health and speed as you progress in waves. Some parts of levels have way more detail and junk laying around. Weapon sounds are very lame and don't sound good. I am running an older PC so I had to drop the settings down to mid/low. I did enjoy the music track, even though it's just one track. The enemy AI is really basic and the pathing is questionable, especially when the enemies tend to get spawned pretty far away. Death is temporary as you will just respawn, you lose your equipped weapons and get the 2 starting weapons, which is useless in later waves when they deal no damage. The game also has no pause menu, so hitting the ESC key closes the game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2570072039 Yet I somehow spent over an hour on this game, and I actually enjoyed it! I played it far enough to make it to wave 26, to the point it's unplayable as the zombies had too much health and would instantly kill. I played through and unlocked every door, picked up every weapon, and tried them, even unlocking the most expensive room to find the mystery box. I even unlocked all the outfits. The game just clicked with me and I just kept playing till I was done. Is the game perfect? No, but I still had quite a bit of fun and enjoyed my time. Hopefully, the Dev puts more work into this game and adds more onto it. It's got a solid foundation to build on, and this game could be really great. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2570072076 [h1] [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/32912601-Aythadis/] My Currator Page for My Other Reviews!
Well, I'm not good in FPS games its a good game with potential, I saw some bugs in my gameplay but well its normal bugs in a indie game right? What I mosted like is that seems devs see our videos/reviews and they try make game better. So its a good point and I hope this game getting better, maybe in future add some coop... About gameplay is simple kill all that show up... It has waves and each wave come more and more, has a lot to do in this game but if devs keep see our videos/reviews and try make it better could be a nice game in future.
It is a nice game. I love playing it!
This game reminds me of old school Call of Duty zombies. Impressive that it's made by a single person! Worth checking out.
Very early access but very good for what it is. Obviously not the final product as the creator works alone and is trying to improve it by letting others play and give feedback on it. I really enjoyed running around the expansive map looking for different secrets and all the while being chased by waves of the un-dead. There are already so many cool things about it. Unique weapons, secret areas, secret weapons, outfits to find. A variety of different areas to fight in like close quarter hallways or an open parking lot. Some minor things i would like to see at some point or bugs I noticed: More organic aiming down sights and along with that the ability to toggle it. Settings that work. I didn't try all of them but the sound settings didn't work. When I press escape in the game it closes the game. Upon starting the first wave, it is a little laggy but eventually evens out. Not sure what the cause is. Zombies have some pretty big range after getting close and then walking away. Perhaps consider less damage from the zombies since you get to heal. If you regenerate over time then maybe the massive damage is worth it. I noticed two times where I was in a spot where the zombies just stopped coming towards me like they thought they could no longer reach me but I was still well within their grasp. All in all a VERY good start and I look forward to seeing where you take it!
Old school zombie shooter. Worth checking out! And I joining for the previous comments it can be a good game just need some work on it. After 20th wave the game became monotone. Zombies coming and you have to kill them. But you can find some hidden stuff, weapons and extra cash if you looking for it. I think need some more content and bug fix. I found a hidden door but i can't pass trough the door my character been stopped by the door pieces. The zombie dropped ammo to the railing and i wasn't been able to to pick up. But apart of this Well Done and Good Luck
This game has all of the bones of an amazing game! A few patches and it'll be something I could sink some hours into. With that being said, this game has some major bugs in its current state. Pressing ESC key hard closed the game. My HUD all appears cut off so I can't see my ammo or points to unlock things. I would still recommend this game given that it was created by one person and a few patches could really improve the game.
