I love this game. I just wish the developers would continue making or create a redo of this game since now they could make a more realistic game.
no update :(
so great.........................
This is such a hidden gem, honestly. I loved the gameplay, it was very similar to WolfQuest: Classic which is a game I love. I got emotionally attached to my cubs after just some hours of gameplay and wanted to protect them with my own life. This game's graphics aren't the best but they also aren't as bad as people describe them to be. It's playable. 7.5/10, would play again if I have time.
TOO HARD
I REALLY want to like this game but just can't. I love the way the game looks and you can customize your character with several coats, but honestly it seems like a game made by one person that knew how to draw and that's about it. Now prepare for my long rant about why this game just sucks because it'll be a long one. First off the tutorial, now this tutorial confused me more than the actual game and that's saying a lot, the tutorial pretty much starts you off in motherhood and tells you to chirp at your cubs and hunt for them and then it's over, I have never hated a tutorial more. Now in the actual game I can not express how stupid the movement/controls are, you just slide across the ground when your turning and walking just looks like someone reversed a video of someone moon walking. Then you instantly have random chunks of tutorial popping up in your face about random things, let me paint a scene Your walking down a cliff sideways(As cougars do apparently) and suddenly you get a pop up telling you to chirp at your cubs using F to get them to follow you, but something is off... You haven't even met any male cougars in the whole time you've been playing and you have no cubs or den!! And of course if that isn't fancy enough for you here's this Your drinking from a wooden bridge(As cougars do) and apparently you have to go mark territory by ripping your tail off and shoving it through a tree, even though you don't need a territory nor can you make one Ok now lets get back to the review. You find a male cougar and suddenly another cougar runs you over and slaps the first one in the face, you try to break it up and then they one-shot you while fighting each other. You re-spawn at your last save and OH MAN AN EAGLE IS CLIMBING THE GROUND TO EAT YOU, now Eagles don't normally grab adult cougars especially not by sliding on the ground so you walk away assuming it's eating a fox or something. Suddenly though a bunch of hunters shoot you and you re-spawn, well now you assume it's time to try hunting, but oh no, it gets worse. Your cougar can run for about two seconds before running out of stamina because you haven't upgraded it, then you discover that you can just pounce at it costs no stamina so this is how you run, but then your camera flips around and you almost lose your prey but luckily a fox runs into your face and gets one shotted by your flying camera. Now it's time to find a mate and luckily you have censorship on, so the cougar climbs onto you and the whole game shakes(50% chance to crash) and sadly the censorship just warped the screen, well anyways, we have to go mate with like 19 more cougars or we aren't pregnant so off we go! You mate 19 more times after getting slapped in the face by more male cougars fighting and then you have to wait 4 minutes to give birth. You look at your map and find a den nearby so you go there in about 30 seconds because the world is the size of large truck, so now you sit there, get attacked by 50 wolves, and then give birth to three cubs that you can name and never change their names. Then you go away to one-shot more foxes, but when you get back a bunch of ravens and wolves and a moose with no head have started dancing on your cubs and only one is alive, however there are no notifications aside from the dumb ones I've already told you about so you die, go back to your last save, and have no cubs. This game is very dumb as you can see, I highly recommend not buying it unless your into seeing a cougar do squats on another cougar's head
