A fun adventure
I did enjoy it a fair bit, especially the villain, betrayal ending but.. Even with the update, it still feels like a first half of a complete tale. I would still recommend people to buy it on sale and enjoy the journey you currently have, but temper your expectations with regard to the endings.

This is honestly a good read, and I can't wait to read a sequel.
Great game!
Had fun with it but it's ending made the entire game feel like a Chapter One/Prologue and it's end there
A strong start that reads more like a prelude to something that could turn out great. If you're starved for more superhero CYOAs, get it, otherwise, wait for the second book to come out.
Unsupervised feels like the first half of a two-part season—full of potential but ending just as things get interesting. It's too short to be fully satisfying, yet I can't in good conscience downvote it because what's there is well-written and engaging. The young adult characters feel surprisingly authentic, avoiding the usual cringe, and the powers and mentor choices are great and add variety. While these choices may not drastically change outcomes, everything points to them having a much greater impact later on in the story... a story that is far from over. And this is the core of the issue and why Unsupervised can't be wholeheartedly recommended: everything feels like it's setting up book two, alas book one is simply too short and doesn't provide enough payoff to stand on its own.
I quite enjoyed Unsupervised as an engaging superpowers story with many branching paths and variations based on your choices. Looking forward to see whether there will be any follow up!
There is a cliffhanger at the end for hero play-throughs. Yet it's clear it's because the author is trying to make a fleshed-out path instead of an easy ending. It's clear the author has worked extremely hard since 600,000+ words are very very difficult.
I liked it.
