Decent story but combat feels unnecessarily hard. Dark souls RPG maker buggy game.
Ugh... this is one of those games that looks good in theory but falls flat when you actually play. The combat feels like I’m slapping around a wet noodle. The difficulty spikes are brutal for no reason. I spent hours getting stuck in pointless loops. Not even nostalgic fun could save it.

A role-playing game on a simple level. It even has a simple story within it. I can also say that it has a graphic style reminiscent of old arcade games. I just think that the music is not very suitable for the game. Other than that, it's pretty good for the price.
I tried giving this game a chance, in fact, I played through to the end, but honestly, it's not worth it. The gameplay is that of an old turn based RPG, something like Final Fantasy, where you have your party and fight a few enemies at a time. There's little to no exploration in this game, in fact, most of the gameplay between fights could be considered interactive cutscenes (in which you only have to click to advance the dialogue), and then moving on to the next battle (you can also buy some items with the "spice" you win in battles). You're told at the beginning that you can search around for useful items, but after the first few levels it seems there's nothing to be found. Now, the game has plenty of problems. To begin with, there's lots of spelling mistakes, which makes reading through the dialogue a real pain. Also, most of the enemies you fight are incredibly tough to beat, if only because they have huge amounts of health, and they also deal lots of damage. Another big problem is that you can get soft-locked against a certain boss, who can stun or put your characters to sleep (up to three characters per turn, to boot!), and pretty much never misses its attacks, so if it stuns (or puts to sleep) all your characters, you're done for, as the effect lasts for three or four turns. Worst of all, after I managed to beat that boss, I got soft-locked again before saving, by moving to a certain tile in the next area. Talking about the different areas you'll visit, there's a few ones that feel like they weren't finished. For example, I found a locked chest in a room with six coloured buttons, but pressing the buttons did nothing at all. There was also a maze-like structure with a weird gate (or something like that) which wasn't plot relevant at all.
