Finishing both games on "Crushing" difficulty crushed my sanity... Still a 10/10 game!!!
A masterpiece. This game was the best in the franchise for me.
cine
Came here to present my review straight after completing both ''A thief's end'' and ''The lost legacy''. To begin with, both games are incredible due to the fact they offer a unique unforgettable cinematic experience, that you never forget. The graphics are hands down spectacular, especially if you run the game on a powerful PC so as to be able to enjoy stunning visuals and the meticulous details producers have put in it. Everything from landscapes to the inner chambers of secret majestic temples is made so as to convey a feeling of grandeur, which you are bound to admire! Furthermore the music and the sound effects are amazing and always to the point as far as what goes on the screen is concerned. Moreover the action set pieces are likely going to blow you away with adrenaline and cinematic sequences that seldom you witness in games. On the whole both these chapters offer unique and enjoyable hours that you need to go through, especially if you love action and exploration!
everything good
Awesome game!

Plugged in the PlayStation 5 to get GTA 6 so I thought it was time to play the classic Uncharted games for the first time... It took me about 23ish hours to get through all three games. So, it's time for a LIGHTNING ROUND review for Uncharted 1-3! Uncharted 1: Drake's Fortune: Cute little action adventure game that shows its age on its sleeves. It has not aged gracefully... The gunplay is the most artificial abysmal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I've experienced in a long time. It's kinda buns... xd 6/10 Uncharted 2: Among Thieves: Action slop. Just when you think the action can't up the ante any further they continue to do it throughout the runtime of this game. The gunplay is still pretty crap here too. This is prolly the best out of the three games. 7.5/10 Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception: Holy Christ, even MORE action slop. I didn't think it was possible. Amy Hennig attempts to get a little more creative with her storytelling but it doesn't really pay off here. It reminded me quite a bit of Last of Us 2. 6.5/10 Overall, these games are VERY "samey." Every single game plays out like the following. Nathan discovers the hunt for a treasure that belonged to some historical figure that was very wealthy, he embarks on a journey looking for it, he comes across a rival crew ALSO looking for it and will kill a TON of people from this crew that ramps up in difficulty as the game progresses, he finds a "lost city" that contains the treasure, eventually comes to an understanding that the treasure was hidden for a reason, and then proceeds to prevent the other crew from obtaining the "treasure" due to this reason. Cycle repeat. If you've played one of 'em, you've played all of 'em. The formula is running thin by the time you get to the 4th game. But I will say Uncharted 4 is the best game out of all of them. It is a remarkable cinematic achievement when it comes to storytelling in video games. The best narrative since Last of Us 1. I really like the pacing and slow burn. You don't get to shoot a gun until Chapter 4, and it's a toy gun, at that. And it was STILL engaging. It feels like the other games were just rushing the plot to get to the action. Like they didn't have confidence in their story-telling capability. This is what the Uncharted franchise should have been from the get-go. I think The Last of Us 1 really was a turning point for Naughty Dog and their games. Until they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up with Last of Us 2... I think, thematically, this game struck a specific chord to me in a way that not even The Last of Us 1 could. And that's the dilemma of chasing your passions vs. knowing when to quit for the sake of those that you care for around you. Obsession. This narrative feels like a love letter to the child-like wonder and aspirations that exist deep within everyone. Nathan has to accept when it's no longer reasonable to chase his dream and become a responsible adult. As someone who has just graduated from university, I felt this in my soul. It's bittersweet. A Thief's End is about Nathan's acceptance that his life as a "thief" is over. It's also hard not to feel bad for Sam. Someone who spent 15 years in prison dreaming of one adventure just to be told by everyone around him that he's too obsessed with it. Easy for everybody else to say when they've had fulfilling lives. I feel like this one is gonna stick with me for a long time. This is Naughty Dog's second game that I can consider to be their crowning achievement. Bravo Naughty Dog. "As thrilling as the next adventure might be, in the end, you're always left with that same feeling. Sometimes you just gotta choose what you're gonna keep and what you're gonna let go." Amazing video as to why Uncharted 4 is so great: https://youtu.be/8TQ3Acv0f6c?si=7QrG42k7J_mZpGv3
