About
You know, when you explain an idea, the idea fundamentally changes.
UNBEATABLE is an anime-juiced rhythm adventure where you (figuratively) destroy on stage while you (literally) destroy on stage. During rhythm gameplay, you only need two buttons: a button for up and a button for down. Simple to understand! The complicated part is doing it. Try not to get destroyed yourself.
Half the game is walking around and taking things at your own pace. The other half is trying to keep up with ours.
The pink-haired girl is Beat, and she is you, and you have a lot of things to worry about. The cops are everywhere, and they are mad at you for what feels like no good reason. Though it doesn't help your case that you keep making friends with people that the cops are mad at for slightly better reasons. But what do I know?
Talk to people, help them out (or don't, I'm not your mom!), play huge concerts, and punch cops. And then run away from the cops you punched. Also there are monsters or something. Not sure what's going on there?!?!
All of this culminates in massive setpieces where everything is at stake. The music got you here. It'll get you through it.
*if this was 1999 this section would be called "talk the talk and rock the rock"
UNBEATABLE's full arcade mode is an entire game by itself with its own progression system and a full online component. There's modifiers, tons of songs (with more to come!) and a whole challenge board to beat, with things to do that range from as simple as "beat a song on easy mode" to, one may presume, something as complicated as "solve an ancient riddle while skateboarding." That's not a real example.

FEATURES:
Story Mode: 6-8 hours. Arcade Mode: UNLIMITED
Characters that hate you!
Maybe also some that don't!
The arcade mode has a cute little profile you can customize and unlock stuff for and I think that's pretty neat
Graphics! We'd describe them but I mean it's right there, you can see it
A whole entire double album worth of original songs
plus acoustic versions of those songs
oh and also remixes, too
You can unlock all the songs by playing the narrative OR just by playing the arcade game exclusively! Great for those who truly hate stories
Something (in this game) will make you feel something (in real life)!
It's anime
If you think about it, QTEs are basically just rhythm games with no music
Please, whatever you do, the title is either all caps or no caps. Be kind to us.
And the idea changes you in return.

The story mode broke me. It came out at a time when I was in a deep depressive rut and didn't know how to move forward in my life nor what that moving forward looked like. Beat's story showed me what it meant to be human and what regaining the spark in my life practically looks like, and I owe d-cell the world for that. The Arcade mode is phenomenal. It's one of those "easy to learn, difficult to master" games, which encouraged me to push myself farther than I ever anticipated, reaching top 300 North America and top 600 global as of the writing of this review. If you want a story mode that is so though-provoking it changes your brain chemistry and an equally addictive arcade mode, you won't be disappointed, seriously.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

peak need to get some memory loss so i can play again
UNBEATABLE is an amazing game. Frankly, I got it just because I love Jamie Paige’s music; however, the game surprised me a lot. Generally, rhythm games haven’t been my favorite (because I suck at them,) but UNBEATABLE’s accessibility allowed me to experience and love the game (I still suck btw.)
I haven't had a game make me cry this hard in a very, very, very, VERY long time. Jesus christ. Please play it. Holy ♥♥♥♥.
a beautiful, creative musical experience that conveys an interesting plot through many different types and styles of rhythm games. fun and silly dialog throughout the game feels real and relatable, a must play bro
Its good very good. play it, the third episode is a bit weird but still amazing play it
punk to its core.
Oh my god this game is so peak. I'd say that this game has the best story out of any game I've played. It made me cry, speaking as someone who doesn't cry easily. The story feels so organic, real and so carefully written. The dialogue is the most natural dialogue I've seen in a video game, and it makes the characters, and hence the story, feel incredibly organic and real. I think that might be part of why the emotional moments hit so hard. I could tell that the writers poured their hearts into the story with how it feels so human and emotional. I'd say that the way of storytelling that this game uses is super unique, and it's probably not for everyone. It really struck with me personally though. It can feel fast-paced, and also sometimes random and spontaneous. That can make it feel a little messy at times, but I personally really enjoyed that messiness. It also often leaves stuff unexplained, which kind of is how things work in real life, so I think that actually adds to the realness of the story. The humor in this game also worked incredibly well with me. I feel like this game is almost Deltarune level funny at times maybe It can feel really silly and funny when it wants to be, and I think that's really awesome. I enjoyed most of the story, but the ending in particular was so unbelievably peak. It was genuinely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I agree with the sentiment that if you buy this game, you *have* to get through to the ending. The rhythm game segments and the arcade mode are incredibly fun to play. It's a two-button game, and it's really intuitive and easy to understand. However, it has an incredibly high skill ceiling at the same time. There's also really good rating system that tracks you skill level, which incentivized me to keep improving (and it's really fun to see my improvements reflected on my rating score!) This game also have some optional minigames, some fun and some unfun. They're mostly optional though (unless you're going for all achievements or all items), so I didn't have an issue with them!! They're generally great additions to the game in my opinion. And moving and jumping around the overworld, talking to people and doing quests are also really fun to me! The music is also great! The songs in this game has really grown on me since I started playing.... The game might have some performance issues if your PC isn't that good, but changing the settings for framerate and resolution helped a lot for me. Still got my CPU above 80C sometimes though, even with an external fan. also i love treble so incredibly much (i would do anything for him)
