Easy, chill, puzzle game. I only spent less than $1 on it and got my moneys worth.
This is like.. helping 2 introverts notice each other but in gods pov, puzzle form, slightly colorized. Simple yet not easy
Short, Sweet and Sad! Refreshing gameplay!

Umiro, developed by Diceroll Studios and published by Devolver Digital, is a minimalist puzzle game that emphasizes thoughtful problem-solving and visual storytelling. Released in 2018, the game presents a serene yet challenging environment where players guide two characters, Huey and Satura, through a colorless, fragmented world. Its design balances simplicity with depth, offering an experience that is both meditative and mentally engaging, appealing to fans of strategy and puzzle-based gameplay. The core gameplay of Umiro revolves around planning and executing precise movements. Players must draw paths for Huey and Satura, navigating obstacles and collecting crystals to progress through each level. The game requires careful timing and coordination, as both characters often need to act in sync to overcome challenges. Early levels introduce players to the mechanics gradually, while later stages incorporate moving platforms, timed switches, and other obstacles that demand careful observation and strategic thinking. This gradual increase in complexity ensures a satisfying learning curve, encouraging players to refine their problem-solving skills without feeling overwhelmed. Visually, Umiro employs a clean, geometric art style that is both modern and approachable. Each level is designed with simple shapes and vibrant colors that stand out against a neutral background, creating a visually distinct and easily readable environment. Huey and Satura are rendered with minimalistic yet expressive designs, allowing players to emotionally connect with them despite the abstract world. The game’s use of color not only serves an aesthetic purpose but also functions as a visual cue, highlighting interactive elements and guiding players through each puzzle. The game’s soundtrack complements its visual design perfectly, offering ambient music that enhances the calm, contemplative mood. The audio shifts dynamically with the pacing of the gameplay, intensifying during challenging sequences and easing during moments of reflection. This thoughtful use of sound encourages players to engage fully with the environment, promoting a sense of immersion that aligns with the game’s meditative approach. The combination of visuals and audio creates a cohesive atmosphere that makes Umiro feel like a living, breathing puzzle world. While Umiro excels in its aesthetics and gameplay mechanics, it is not without limitations. The game’s short length and relatively straightforward mechanics may leave some players seeking a deeper or more expansive experience. Additionally, the narrative is minimal, relying on environmental storytelling rather than dialogue or cutscenes, which may not satisfy those looking for character-driven stories. However, for players who appreciate concise, carefully designed puzzle experiences, these limitations do little to detract from the overall enjoyment. In conclusion, Umiro is a beautifully crafted puzzle game that blends minimalist design with engaging, thoughtful gameplay. Its combination of precise mechanics, striking visuals, and a dynamic soundtrack creates a unique experience that is both challenging and calming. While it may not offer extensive replayability or a traditional narrative, its focus on atmosphere and problem-solving makes it a standout title for fans of meditative puzzle games and players seeking a visually and mentally stimulating adventure. Rating: 7/10
This is a dumb puzzle game where you draw the path of two people and watch them helplessly run into the things that kill them. Its bad in the sense where its not a puzzle but instead a training on the fortitude of your mind to see if you can slam as many attempts you can in their face, or try to time the path within the cycle of an orb with two separate characters at their own uncontrolled walking speed. Of course you can estimate where they'll be because of it, but it make it into a guessing game rather than a puzzle.
