12 Labours of Hercules VII: Fleecing the Fleece - это казуальная игра в жанре тайм-менеджмента, основанная на древнегреческой мифологии. Геймплей строится вокруг управления ресурсами и временем. Каждый уровень требует от игрока эффективного распределения рабочих, сбора ресурсов и выполнения задач в ограниченные сроки.
More of the same, but with a less interesting story than before. The game runs fine, but the achievements are broken. Some unlock that don;t seem to meet requirements, while ones that do meet requirements do not. Beating the developer's scores? Good luck with that unless you enjoy trying to memorize a walkthrough video or use a script/mod to play the game for you. I'd rather earn achievements honestly, so this isn't going to happen- not even going to try for the "beat the dev's scores" cheevos. Not sure when I got this, and what I paid for it (likely part of a bundle of some sort), and even at full price it's not expensive. But you get what you pay for, I guess? If you're addicted to the franchise- sure, go for it, knowing that the game is just more of the same, and has broken achievements that will never be fixed. Otherwise- save your money and get something else. (quick edit to correct a typo or two.)

It is another really nice clear the road type of management game in the series. My only complaint is the stupid "Beat a Developer's Record 20 Times" achievement which is just annoying and makes completing the game an unenjoyable experience if you care about that. I wish they would stop adding them. Works without any issues on Linux with Proton (6.3-7).
I did enjoy the game, but I really miss boss fights and minigames, it starts feeling like the levels are just endlessly repeating. Even tho, I did enjoy the idea of a long journey and it kinda reminded me of Age of Empire, its also an Improvement from 12 labours VI
全成就了,其他都好,就一个“军需官“的成就卡了很久。要求是在资源生产点收集100次,看了讨论区才知道要在一关里刷的,按照指点在3.5关刷出来了
(ツ)_/¯ 12 Labours of Hercules VII: Fleecing the Fleece (Platinum Edition)

12 Labours of Hercules VII: Fleecing the Fleece, developed by Jetdogs Studios and Zoom Out Games and published by Jetdogs Studios, continues the beloved time-management adventure series that combines mythological storytelling with fast-paced strategy. In this seventh installment, Hercules teams up with Jason in a lighthearted retelling of the myth surrounding the quest for the Golden Fleece. While the narrative remains simple and secondary to the gameplay, it provides a charming mythological backdrop that ties together the game’s series of challenges. As with earlier entries, the emphasis is not on epic storytelling but on maintaining rhythm and flow through clever resource management, multitasking, and quick decision-making, all delivered through vibrant, colorful visuals and upbeat energy that has become a hallmark of the series. The gameplay structure remains immediately familiar to fans of the franchise. Each level tasks the player with managing workers, gathering resources such as food, wood, and gold, clearing obstacles, and rebuilding roads or structures to complete objectives within a time limit. Efficiency and planning are key, as every second counts and every task consumes resources that must be replenished strategically. The player can issue orders to multiple workers, activate speed or productivity bonuses, and sequence actions to optimize resource flow. Although the game’s core mechanics have changed little from previous titles, the level design keeps the experience lively, offering intricate maps with interconnected goals that demand both timing and foresight. The pace escalates gradually, and later stages push the player to refine their pathing and decision-making with greater precision, turning what begins as a relaxed experience into a surprisingly intense puzzle of coordination. Visually, Fleecing the Fleece continues the series’ distinct bright and polished aesthetic. The environments are lush with greenery, temples, and ancient structures rendered in colorful high-definition detail. Every action—from chopping trees to harvesting crops—is animated with satisfying clarity, ensuring that the screen remains readable even when the tempo rises. The game’s art direction leans into a whimsical take on Greek mythology, filled with heroic caricatures, playful monsters, and animated effects that make even mundane tasks feel lively. Accompanied by a cheerful soundtrack and crisp sound effects, the presentation gives the player a sense of continuous motion and accomplishment, which keeps the experience light and addictive. The atmosphere is neither overwhelming nor overly complex, which aligns perfectly with the game’s casual yet strategic appeal. In terms of mechanics, the game introduces small refinements rather than dramatic innovations. Players are still rewarded for quick thinking, but there’s now a stronger emphasis on planning routes before the timer begins. This pre-level observation period allows for strategizing, an appreciated feature for players who value precision. The difficulty curve is well balanced during the early game but grows demanding in later levels, where resources become scarce and efficiency becomes the deciding factor between success and failure. Players often find themselves juggling multiple priorities—collecting resources, upgrading structures, and deploying power-ups—while racing against time. Despite its accessibility, the game’s layered complexity ensures that achieving three-star ratings or beating developer times can be quite challenging. The presence of boosters, temporary upgrades, and multiple bonus levels gives a sense of progression and replay value, especially for completionists who enjoy refining their performance. Narratively, Fleecing the Fleece provides a simple but enjoyable mythological frame that fits comfortably within the series’ formula. The quest for the Golden Fleece, combined with Hercules’s larger-than-life persona, offers a familiar setting filled with humor and warmth rather than grand drama. Short cutscenes and dialogue segments appear between levels, delivering light exposition and occasional jokes that maintain a consistent tone throughout. This narrative restraint works in the game’s favor, keeping the player focused on its rhythm-based strategic gameplay. The game’s mythological references serve as thematic decoration, allowing fans of Greek mythology to enjoy familiar names and motifs while never distracting from the core puzzle experience. Where the game truly excels is in its accessibility and polish. The user interface is clean, the controls are intuitive, and the tutorials ensure that even newcomers can grasp the mechanics quickly. The icons are distinct and visually clear, and the feedback loop—where actions produce immediate, satisfying visual and auditory responses—keeps the experience engaging. This careful attention to clarity allows the game to maintain its speed without confusing the player. Each level feels self-contained and achievable within minutes, making the game ideal for short bursts of play or extended sessions. The structure of progression—moving from one small map to the next, gradually increasing difficulty—provides a sense of continuity that keeps players motivated to see how far they can go. However, Fleecing the Fleece does have limitations that prevent it from standing out dramatically within its genre. The gameplay loop, while finely tuned, is very similar to earlier installments, offering few surprises for returning players. The lack of substantial new mechanics may make it feel repetitive after extended play. Some players also note that resource balance can be uneven, with later levels occasionally demanding near-perfect efficiency that borders on trial-and-error learning. These moments of tension can frustrate casual players who prefer a gentler pace, though they may delight veterans seeking a challenge. Additionally, while the visuals are charming, the art style has remained largely unchanged across the series, giving the impression of familiarity rather than evolution. Yet these shortcomings are minor when viewed within the game’s intended scope—it remains a casual time-management experience designed to relax and engage, not to revolutionize. Despite its predictable formula, 12 Labours of Hercules VII: Fleecing the Fleece succeeds in delivering what fans expect: a well-polished, fast-paced, and visually cheerful adventure that blends mythological whimsy with efficient strategy. The combination of simple mechanics, appealing visuals, and satisfying progression ensures it remains an enjoyable and approachable entry in the series. For long-time players, it offers another round of familiar comfort; for newcomers, it provides an accessible introduction to a well-established formula that has defined the genre for years. It may not break new ground, but it reinforces why the 12 Labours of Hercules games continue to endure—their blend of precision, charm, and timeless gameplay rhythm remains as rewarding as ever.
