Umineko When They Cry - Answer Arcs

Hello, witches~ Most of the time, Fiction is weaving lies and shaping them into truth, then making readers regard them as reality. The word “fiction” itself already illustrates this. However, there is also a vast gap between fictions. A good script merely creates lies by studying structure and text, exploring writing tricks that reveal lies or wordplay to readers. This is precisely the basic duty of a writer, being conventional and understandable. A bad script is an imitation and piling of existing writing tricks, without bringing new structural genre creative contributions or new literary aesthetic experiences. It is assembly-line industrial waste, which is full of arrogance and crudeness. An excellent script reveals the truth of reality through fabricated lies, a magical flash of love and inspiration, showcasing the coincidental common logic between different things, encouraging readers to think independently about the connection between fiction and reality. I can feel full of passion and subtlety. Fortunately, Umineko is a good script with masterful tricks. The entire story showcases its masterful skills and extraordinary creativity in puzzle reasoning, prosecution and defense, and, of course, propaganda (in the fairy tale and anti-fairy tale in ep6-7). Even more fortunately, Umineko is an excellent script. Cutting open this three-dimensional cheese, I can see that the reality Umineko links to is a reflection on mystery fiction, fiction genres, the tool of narrative, and even and truth versus reality. It does not impose numerous prerequisites for the sake of reasoning or provide standard answers, but instead guides me to observe, feel, and reflect: the credibility of testimony and the validity of evidence, the rules of investigation and trial, the positions of authors and readers, and the brutality of homogeneous revenge, the arrogance of 'superman' in judging criminals, and the laziness of appealing to love. In fact, Umineko actually made a "criminal statement" right from the start: [i] "This story is [b] very obviously [/b] fictional and fantastic in nature" [/i], declaring the nature of the work and hinting at the "correct" perspective for solving puzzles and reading. In some ways, Umineko can be seen as an interesting literature review of detective fiction, a script reconstructed from deconstruction, much like Don Quixote to chivalric novels. Then, the topic of Umineko, I think it’s about decision. North wind or sun, technological theory or magical theory, presumption of guilt or innocence, claimed truth or infinite possibilities, magic or “glue”, trick or treat. A thousand readers from different backgrounds have a thousand prepositions which leads to a thousand truths they choose to see. Faced with the final question of EP8, should I make decisions from the outside of the stage, or from the inside? Should I choose to have a faith in love and seek for unknowable infinity, or uncover the scheme through reasoning and interrogation based on known evidence? Should I choose golden land, or reality? When I personally add the Whydunit, the unknow focus point of the case, to the story, the possibilities in the catbox would collapse into the only truth Ange believes in, and also, I believes in. Without love, it cannot be seen. All right, these are the truth I have observed and arrived yet. Now I should let the aftertaste of the story continue to flow in my mind. Bravo! Listen, by the time you read all the question arcs you might as well read Episodes 5 - 8. and you should read the question arcs because they are very, very good. so following that logic there is no reason not to recommend this, even if I personally disliked the overall theme of the work. Without Love it cannot be seen or whatever.
