Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ultimate Summer, developed by Asmodev and published by Ultimate Games S.A., is a twisted blend of tower defense and first-person shooter that takes the idea of a peaceful vacation and violently flips it on its head. Set on a remote island that was meant to be a relaxing Viking-style getaway, the game quickly escalates into chaotic, blood-soaked madness. You play as a retired butcher who ends up defending himself against increasingly bizarre and grotesque waves of enemies including creatures from Heaven, Hell, Purgatory, Cthulhu mythos, aliens, and even unexpected religious figures. The game’s tone is unapologetically irreverent and drenched in dark humor, wearing its absurdity like a badge of honor. At its core, Ultimate Summer combines the strategic depth of trap placement with the visceral thrill of FPS combat. The main gameplay loop involves building defenses during brief downtimes, placing a variety of traps around key areas, and then actively fighting off incoming hordes using a growing arsenal of weapons. The trap system is quite extensive, offering eighteen unique types that can each be upgraded through three levels, allowing players to tailor their defenses based on their preferred playstyle. Nine different weapons are also available, each with upgrade paths that significantly improve their effectiveness and feel. Combat is brutal and fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on gore and impact feedback. The enemies don’t just drop dead—they explode, squirm, and disintegrate in a spectacle of violence that matches the game’s over-the-top tone. Progression in the game is mission-based, with 14 levels to complete and 14 bosses to take down, each more grotesque and exaggerated than the last. The level design often emphasizes destructible environments and encourages experimentation with trap placement. You can dismantle and recycle parts of the world itself, turning environmental destruction into a resource mechanic. This adds an interesting layer of interaction, though it doesn’t radically shift the gameplay loop beyond the novelty of being able to break most things you see. Between battles, resource management becomes critical—choosing between upgrading traps or weapons, and knowing when to invest in defensive strategy versus aggressive offense, gives players a decent amount of tactical decision-making. Visually, the game presents itself with a gritty, grimy art style that fits the apocalyptic tone. Enemy designs are outrageous, often deliberately grotesque or surreal, adding to the game’s chaotic and unsettling atmosphere. It’s not a game aiming for realism, but rather one that thrives on stylistic excess. The environments are functional rather than beautiful, designed to facilitate gameplay rather than immerse the player in scenic vistas. That said, there’s enough personality in the art direction to keep things visually engaging, especially when bosses show up with their exaggerated animations and thematic entrances. The soundtrack and sound effects lean heavily into heavy metal, grotesque squishes, and over-the-top voiceovers, reinforcing the tone of blood-drenched absurdity. However, Ultimate Summer does have its limitations, and they show especially in its early access state. Some systems feel underdeveloped or repetitive. While the card and trap mechanics are interesting at first, they can become formulaic over time once you find a dominant strategy. The variety in enemy types is solid, but many of the levels follow the same structure, with few surprises in terms of mission design. Additionally, many planned features—such as difficulty settings, controller support, full voice acting, and additional modes—are not yet implemented. This leaves the experience feeling somewhat incomplete for players expecting a more polished, feature-rich game. It's also worth noting that despite its thematic ambition, the game’s narrative is barely there, serving mostly as a vehicle for the chaos rather than a compelling story. Performance-wise, the game is well-optimized for a wide range of systems, with modest hardware requirements. It runs decently even on mid-tier machines, which is helpful considering the high enemy count and constant visual effects. Still, during the most intense firefights, some drops in frame rate and performance hiccups can occur, particularly if a lot of traps are triggering at once in a confined space. These issues aren’t game-breaking but can briefly interrupt the otherwise smooth rhythm of gameplay. As development continues, one hopes these rough edges will be smoothed out, especially as more visual and sound content is added. Ultimately, Ultimate Summer delivers a bizarre, brutal, and surprisingly engaging experience that will appeal to fans of chaotic, over-the-top action games. It doesn’t try to be deep or narratively complex, but it succeeds in offering a frantic hybrid of shooting and strategy that feels uniquely unhinged. It’s the kind of game that doesn’t take itself seriously, and that freedom allows it to push into territory many other games avoid, both thematically and mechanically. While its early access state leaves some systems incomplete and the mission variety somewhat lacking, there's a solid foundation here. With continued support and updates, Ultimate Summer could evolve into a cult favorite among fans of unconventional tower defense and shooter hybrids. Rating: 7/10

In this video I take a look at Ultimate Summer, a first person shooter cross turret defence. This title is definitely intended to be a cheaper B grade release and with that in mind they have done a great job. It has a crazy story line told with quality comic book stills and the game play is fun but very cheesy. It's worth the price and you should enjoy your time in it. Ultimate Summer Plusy: + Prosty gameplay (Podobna do Time to Stop Time) + Jest wyzwanie w bronieniu pralki ! Usprawnienia: - Do spolszczenia 'drzewko rozwoju' - Kopmas (Literówka w słowie) - Można by popracować nad przejrzystością mapy. Jednak to wymagałoby przebudowy gry. Dla mnie bardziej angażujące by to było, gdybym mógł sobie co misje rozbudowywać bazę z tego co zostało, a nie od podstaw zaczynać. Podsumowanie: W kwestiach niedrogich i niedużych gier.
Fun little hidden gem, really like the uniqueness of the characters and the story.
After playing Infernal Radiation from the same developer i was curious to see what would come next from Asmodev, and im quite happy with what did. Ultimate summer was not what i expected it to be. After playing the game for a couple of hours i got the same feeling i did when i first played orcs must die. For an early access im impressed somewhat. The weapons all seem quite balanced and have a nice feeling to them. The traps and towers are very funny and the art style is something new and exciting. One of my favourite things is the flavour text for the towers and traps, not gonna lie i did giggle to myself on several occasions. The storyline is also rather special, for some reason i just love the concept of having to protect a washing machine from the armies of heaven and hell etc. One thing i noticed was that some special effects are a bit to over the top. The exploding traps, whenever they were triggered, they really took a toll on my fps. I would also prefer if there was some more explanation as to how to get access to other pages than the inventory.
