This isn't bad, but it's not good. There are a ton of varieties of sudoku puzzles included, but there are only 10 free ones per type, which is fine. This is fine for beginners. I'm disappointed because I should be struggling more with the hard and extreme challenges. I have a free sudoku on my phone, and the hard puzzles are actually hard and take me way longer than these do. If these free puzzles are any indication of how challenging the paid ones are, I'm not interested in paying for more of the same. The difficulty scale between each level is too narrow. I shouldn't be playing hard and extreme levels like medium ones. There's no way to pause the timer without going out to the main menu and then maneuvering your way back to the puzzle you were on once you're ready, or I haven't found a way to do it yet. If you do use the hints, it just removes one of your notes and doesn't give you the type of hint you're looking for. So there's no real point in using them unless you don't use notes. You have to be paying attention to see which note was removed; otherwise, you're going to think it's not working. That said, there are enough free ones to last me a little while longer, and it's a decent enough distraction when I need something mindless. I'd avoid it if you're looking for a challenge, though, and I definitely would avoid paying for more.

Pros: has a tutorial (click the question mark at the top left screen of the main menu), about 10 “basic free” Sudoku puzzles (which is the standard mode), a handful of free alternate Sudoku puzzles (some formats will melt your brain!), smooth interface, has a timer record of your fastest time for each puzzle, basic settings menu & analytics, you can add numerical footnotes in each empty square Cons: no soundtrack or sound effects, no advanced graphical settings (lol), too many paid DLC’s (although the pay wall is not that expensive), there is no back/undo button Overall, the best Sudoku game I have played so far. Worth buying the paid “basic” package which contains 250 basic game mode puzzles for 99 cents. I have spent 7 hours at the writing of this review. Ultimate Sudoku Collection has my highest recommendation

Whilst the game has potential, in it's current form there are better versions out there. It would be good if you could highlight multiple cells at the same time.
