Ultimate Racing 2D 2

Absolutely love UR2D2. It's the closest I can get to making and watching my own racing series, and the tracks provided by default and on the workshop make the possibilities nearly endless. There's lots of customizable settings that make just the VIEWING experience absolutely fantastic. It's a racing game I have 50+ hours in and I think I've only ever tried driving a single race. The rest has purely been spectating, which says A LOT about the quality. There's one main thing I wish was added though, WHY DO ONLY THE FORMULA SERIES HAVE CAR CUSTOMIZATION BY SECTION? I SO badly want to make a GT series to go with my Formula series, but in game the GT cars can only be customized in solid colors over the whole car. I'm desperately hoping GT cars get livery pieces in a future update, it would make me personally very happy even though it's such a small thing.

The dev's perseverance to update this game even if it's little by little is outstanding.

No controller support for a racing game?... Homie don't play dat!

I've been looking for a game like this for probably forever. The best way to describe it would be esports for micro-machines. I'm only 4 hours in or so but there is a good size discord community that run online leagues and seasons. It will run on any pc and the skill ceiling is super high. It's a game where you have to get in to a flow state of no mistakes to do well in. I can literally sit there for hours and time trial one track and I haven't even started racing yet. Give it a go, its super cheap.

icl this game is really really fun. The multiplayer and time trial has dropped down a little bit in popularity but that doesn't mean the game is in any way bad. The community workshop is also in incredible shape.

Genuinely couldn’t ask for anything else. You can download other people’s car classes and racetracks or create your own. And the matchups can be insane as you can run Stock Cars, Formula Cars, GT Cars, Prototypes, and even Tractors all in the same race.

If you are a fan of top down or arcade racers, then you will love this one. You can make the racing as arcadey or as sim-like as you want with the amount of options. They also have just started updating the game again. There are also many mods in the workshop for more cars and tracks. Definitely Recommend.
