The people saying it gets boring after a few hours are neurotypical, therefor not the target audience

Its fun but i will say i think they took down one of there best fetures from the first game where you could posses somebody and have other people follow you to a certain area while you were posseing someone it kinda made you feel like a general but other wise its a really fun game.

I have powerfull rig but still having 10 MILIONS units on screen fighting in real life and having 30 stable FPS is some optimization wizard ♥♥♥♥. 2 milions runs in stable 120 fps, still insane I got it for -80% on sale and it is worth this price. 20 bucks? Still really cool to see something like that but it is not a game for many hours.

I think it is pretty evident from the negative reviews that the game on its own is quite boring. Now it will depend on person to person. I can see the appeal of having your favourite characters/unit types fight each other in absured numbers with good performance. I also understand that there really isn't any game that scratches that itch of leading a 100000 troops. The game does offer insane unit numbers, BUT, the depth is just not there. I won't even talk about Total War. Take bannerlord, only 1000 troops in the battlefield. But a single match of bannerlord is much more enganging than almost any match here. And this game is interesting, seeing some historical units fight each other. But there really isn't much to the AI or to the amount of attacks they can use. Each character can only use one attack (which was really disappointing on Godzilla because he was only swiping people). Over that, the animations are very mediocre. You can play as any unit, but it is so barebones that I would rather play A Story About Farting than play as an individual unit here. Not to say only a single attack makes things worse. For a game with millions of possible units in the battlefield, it doesn't have a fast forward button. What the hell? Not only that, the RTS mode is also extremely bare bones. There is almost no actual control or management of units which is really terrible. It is alright for being a secondary mechanics. But that is the issue with this game, nothing feels primary. Everything is so uncooked and dry that nothing keeps you playing. For that reason nothing is realistic and you can't actually simulate real army battles properly because the AI and features just aren't there. So there is no point in having large armies. And if you think mods will save it...NO, they don't. Mods are very few, and the ones that are, add a few popular characters and armies to the game. They still don't have depth, gameplay, or any sort of realism behind them. There is no mod (at least not one that I could find) that actually enhances the gameplay and makes it more fun. So yes, the game is there, but the gameplay isn't. As the name suggests, it is purely a large army battle/epic battle simulator with some interactions and actions to make you feel a lot more involved. Although you may still like the game. It is fun. From time to time, I can see myself hanging around it. But it is just a time pass. Most of the times you won't actually walk out with something memorable. Overall Rating: 5.2/10. Nice attempt on a unique idea, but very poorly executed and managed. And not many good mods that save it from being boring.

Some call it a glorified screen saver, but they lack imagination. Mod community is thriving. RP by yourself kids! It's fun!
