About

Endless procedurally generated dungeons, countless monsters, items and a grand selection of very different skills allow for unlimited replayability.
Interactive surroundings! Topple braziers, push coffins, smash doors or turn them into wooden golems to (hopefully) serve your bidding.
Choose or toggle between graphic mode and traditional ASCII at any time. Toggle between 3D mode and top down view, in ASCII or in the graphic mode.
Intuitive control system will get rid of the need to memorize hundreds of keys. Though you can still do so, if you're into that. We are not judging.
A great variety of classes, genders, races and allegiances to choose from allow for extensive build diversity and change the way the game challenges you. NPCs will react differently, new quests will be open to you and the world may change completely based on your decisions.
A deep magic system with several unique schools of magic and over 80 of spells to choose from, ranging from summoning demons to animating the very walls of the dungeon to aid you - the possibilities are endless.
Over 380 skills in 25 skill trees and dozens of secret skills trees that are only waiting to be unlocked.
A stealth system introduces a totally new way of playing the game: Instead of hacking or blasting all opposition to pieces you now can sneak past adversaries and avoid conflict.
Turn yourself into an abomination and graft your enemies’ body parts on yourself. They won’t need them anymore, and what's better than wielding two swords? Two swords and an axe to harvest more body parts than ever before.
Countless options of how to tackle the dungeons awaiting you. Befriend or tame creatures, slay monsters, delve deeper or keep exploring and expanding the cavern levels you have already found. Over 200 different foes await, each requiring matching tactics.
"Dying is part of the fun" - Each death is permanent. Your progress however will allow continuous improvement of future characters.

DO NOT BUY - even on discount! TONS of bugs, yet I tried to endure them... When I finally reached far into the game - it froze! When I restarted the game and tried to load save - the level does not load and then it freezes again... This game had a huge potential for sure. The way you develop the character and the amount of possibilities - is pretty nice. But the gamebreaking bugs kill the game, sadly :/ Apparently there are missing features when compared to original ADOM - altars for example do not seem to work - at all.

I bought this game because I used to love ADOM, and thought that Ultimate ADOM would be at least like ADOM, but sadly it turns out that this game feels like it falls short of that. I remember quite fondly playing ADOM again and again. Sometimes establishing farms within dungeon, other times trying to do some other weird things you could do with it. Ultimate ADOM lacks classes ADOM had - for example I miss merchant - and interesting class mechanics and instead it has skill trees as talents mechanic that isn't bad exactly and it shows promise as an concept. Problem is that it feels deeply unfinished (which it apparently is). ADOM had interesting overworld you could explore and find places like Tower of Fire and its introductory dungeon(s) worked pretty well, whereas Ultimate ADOM tries to shove tutorial down your throat, lacks world map and doesn't really have quests. It feels like you were sent down Endless Dungeon instead of that Small Cave in ADOM. It might be okay-ish rogue-like if it wasn't called Ultimate ADOM, but right now it just annoys me with tarnishing good memories with unfinished gameplay.
A very promising game. It could become the best "roguelike - for -one - evening" in the world, but developers abandoned the game in a halfway. Still, you may play the game and finish it. About the difficulty: If you are new in the game, it will kill you in one shot. If you use some OP mechanics, you will 99% win. Both issues could be fixed - if someone was working on the game.
Long time OG ADOM player, general roguelike fan since the 20th century, this is a great modernized version of the lineage that traces back to NetHack and punch cards. Very deep, better balanced than the original, more accessible with sprites than ASCII. Good stuff all around.
Guys, if you wanna that such unique games continue to evolve, giving bad reviews isn't what help. First of all, I am gratitude a lot for ADOM. It is such a high detailed open world rpg game in 90s while nowadays a lot of RPGs don't have that features. And for me, Ultimate ADOM is amazing, just because it has similar gameplay to original ADOM and has such a beautiful style with partial 3D graphics. This 3D ASCII mode is something *___________* Yeah, it is sad for me that there is no open world exploration, but maybe there is a reason for that. I played for a few hours yet, so later would be able to explain my experience in low details. But anyway, despite few bugs, I am pretty satisfied with that game.
Игра - скам, не стоит тратить время и деньги. Томас Бискап сдулся, после своей легендарной и единственной игры, раз сделал такую поделку, назвав практически тем же именем. Жаль, очень жаль. А ведь мог бы доделать игру.
Do not buy it even for 1 euro. Let`s wait for Thomas` third try...
