About

Endless procedurally generated dungeons, countless monsters, items and a grand selection of very different skills allow for unlimited replayability.
Interactive surroundings! Topple braziers, push coffins, smash doors or turn them into wooden golems to (hopefully) serve your bidding.
Choose or toggle between graphic mode and traditional ASCII at any time. Toggle between 3D mode and top down view, in ASCII or in the graphic mode.
Intuitive control system will get rid of the need to memorize hundreds of keys. Though you can still do so, if you're into that. We are not judging.
A great variety of classes, genders, races and allegiances to choose from allow for extensive build diversity and change the way the game challenges you. NPCs will react differently, new quests will be open to you and the world may change completely based on your decisions.
A deep magic system with several unique schools of magic and over 80 of spells to choose from, ranging from summoning demons to animating the very walls of the dungeon to aid you - the possibilities are endless.
Over 380 skills in 25 skill trees and dozens of secret skills trees that are only waiting to be unlocked.
A stealth system introduces a totally new way of playing the game: Instead of hacking or blasting all opposition to pieces you now can sneak past adversaries and avoid conflict.
Turn yourself into an abomination and graft your enemies’ body parts on yourself. They won’t need them anymore, and what's better than wielding two swords? Two swords and an axe to harvest more body parts than ever before.
Countless options of how to tackle the dungeons awaiting you. Befriend or tame creatures, slay monsters, delve deeper or keep exploring and expanding the cavern levels you have already found. Over 200 different foes await, each requiring matching tactics.
"Dying is part of the fun" - Each death is permanent. Your progress however will allow continuous improvement of future characters.

This project turned out to be a horrible scam. It does not deserve a positive rating. The rating should be overwhelmingly negative. Those behind this game threw away decades of work and ruined their reputations. This is an abandoned and incomplete title. The devs lied about the project. It isn't what they promised. I regret supporting this project, trusting those behind it and wasting my money and time. I wish karma was real. Those who purchased this project should be refunded. The product page should be rewritten, as it doesn't reflect the threadbare framework left here to gather dust. It'd be best if it weren't able to be purchased.
As of writing, January 2025, there has been no update since October of 2021. Do not buy for full price if at all because this is an abandoned alpha game. Definitely more bang for your buck from other roguelikes.
Abandoned game. Not finished, bugged. Don't recomend this developer.
Devs took the money and run away.
Abandoned game
Appears to have been abandoned years ago and is just a demo of base mechanics. Unfortunate, I recall being stoked that this was being developed.
It's a trap!
If you think this game will be anything like its predecessor, you will be very disappointed. The game is very playable, but it's not finished. There's holding text in places, crazy balance issues and some features promised in the blurb that simply aren't there. If you fancy spending a few hours hiking through dungeons, get it on sale, otherwise, avoid. It's such a shame - the game has massive potential and would have been amazing if it had been finished. As it stands, it's just more Abandonware bloat on Steam.
This isn't the postcard quest your looking for, just a red rooster inn.
DO NOT BUY - even on discount! TONS of bugs, yet I tried to endure them... When I finally reached far into the game - it froze! When I restarted the game and tried to load save - the level does not load and then it freezes again... This game had a huge potential for sure. The way you develop the character and the amount of possibilities - is pretty nice. But the gamebreaking bugs kill the game, sadly :/ Apparently there are missing features when compared to original ADOM - altars for example do not seem to work - at all.
