About

Endless procedurally generated dungeons, countless monsters, items and a grand selection of very different skills allow for unlimited replayability.
Interactive surroundings! Topple braziers, push coffins, smash doors or turn them into wooden golems to (hopefully) serve your bidding.
Choose or toggle between graphic mode and traditional ASCII at any time. Toggle between 3D mode and top down view, in ASCII or in the graphic mode.
Intuitive control system will get rid of the need to memorize hundreds of keys. Though you can still do so, if you're into that. We are not judging.
A great variety of classes, genders, races and allegiances to choose from allow for extensive build diversity and change the way the game challenges you. NPCs will react differently, new quests will be open to you and the world may change completely based on your decisions.
A deep magic system with several unique schools of magic and over 80 of spells to choose from, ranging from summoning demons to animating the very walls of the dungeon to aid you - the possibilities are endless.
Over 380 skills in 25 skill trees and dozens of secret skills trees that are only waiting to be unlocked.
A stealth system introduces a totally new way of playing the game: Instead of hacking or blasting all opposition to pieces you now can sneak past adversaries and avoid conflict.
Turn yourself into an abomination and graft your enemies’ body parts on yourself. They won’t need them anymore, and what's better than wielding two swords? Two swords and an axe to harvest more body parts than ever before.
Countless options of how to tackle the dungeons awaiting you. Befriend or tame creatures, slay monsters, delve deeper or keep exploring and expanding the cavern levels you have already found. Over 200 different foes await, each requiring matching tactics.
"Dying is part of the fun" - Each death is permanent. Your progress however will allow continuous improvement of future characters.

First impression of the game was "WTF, why do they call this ADOM" and I didn´t play it for long time because of that. Tried again some time ago and turns out it´s a decent game with similarities to ADOM including some improvements too. You might lose your arm for and instance, but it´s possible to replace with another arm. It was so funny when I lost my arm and found out that the severed arm was in the inventory and possible to wield it as weapon in the remaining arm. What I don´t like about this game is the interface, I think they should have kept the same commands as in the original ADOM, also the loading times are sometimes horrendous. Anyway a good game, maybe not as good as ADOM itself, but for a low price gives something new.
Do not buy it even for 1 euro. Let`s wait for Thomas` third try...
Abandoned in early access. Massive bugs, clearly unfinished and unbalanced. It had potential, but was never realized.
Game is freezing on insubstantial. Game ruining.
disappointing fr
If you are new to ADOM this game is pretty good, entertaining, a couple interesting mechanics like grafting monster limbs onto yourself for a 3rd or 4th weapon slot, and a pretty tile set. But if you are an ADOM veteran and have been playing for years it might be a let down. For the sake of a newer player I am giving this a thumbs up
Fun game.
The game is semi fun. but the cheap deaths isent fun for me. From falling into vortex, to exidently stepping into lava, is not what i call fun. The game is also kinda buggy and little to cartoony for my tast. Lastly the lack of dev support is the final nail in the coffin. Go and ply DCSS instead.
Terribly broken :(
Befor you buy if you do: It seems the game dev have left game unfinished. Read more in the forums. Honest opinions game was fun at first but then i started to understand that this game cant be finished for a normal player experience. You must enjoy death, death, death and all over again death. Whats the point if you cant progress further after each retry. There are better rouge games out there If they added this interface to the old game i would be happy play that, but for now the old is No go on ultrascreen
